Posted by Mark Rollins Categories: Apple, Handhelds, Music, Portable Audio / Video,

The last time we were discussing Logitech, it was in regards to the unveiling of nine new webcams. Now the company has shifted our focus to their new iPod speaker docks, as they have two new ones that we want to let you in on. The S325i (pictured above) is iPhone-compatible, and powered by a rechargeable battery good for 20 hours. The S125i is powered by 4 AA batteries, but doesn’t seem to support the iPhone. Both of these will be available later this month, with the S325i retailing for $129, and the S125i for $69.

Shoot It! photo app now available in App Store

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Photography, Social Networking, New Apps, Reviews, $0.99,
We’ve been beta testing the Shoot It! app for the past couple of months, and we are excited to let you guys know that it is now available for purchase in the App Store for $0.99. Why the excitement? Well, Shoot It! is one of the apps we use very regularly, and it’s one of our favorite apps that we’ve ever used on the iPhone. So, What is Shoot It?
Shoot It! allows you to send high quality postcards to anyone in your iPhone or iPod touch Address Book, using images in your Camera Roll, or an image that you take from within the app using the iPhone camera. You can send a postcard to as many people as you like, and you also fill in a message that would be printed on the back of the photo. The end result is, as we said, a high quality 4x6 glossy postcard that has the image of your choice on the front, and your message on the back. Since you can send the message to any number of contacts, you end up with the ability to send one message to, say, twenty people, in just a minute or two.

Space Invaders Infinity Gene released amid praise

Posted by Brandon Gribin Categories: Games, $4.99,
Taito just released a new version of the classic video game Space Invaders on the App Store, called Space Invaders Infinity Gene.
The game begins with a familiar screen - your ship versus a hoard of familiar, white aliens that are slowing traveling down the screen. But before you know it, things start changing - this isn’t your 1970s arcade title anymore. As you progress in Infinity Gene, the game evolves based on attributes like your score and length of chained kills.
The game also features a music mode where your own music is used to create a level. How’s that for innovation??
Excellent reviews have started popping up on the internet and it sounds like we may have one of the best iPhone game here. It’s going for $4.99.
