The Apex HD+ goggles have a built-in high definition video camera that can live stream to your iOS or Android phone or tablet, and can also record at 1080p 30fps or 720p 60fps, so you can show off you videos later. In addition, the Apex HD+ WiFi can also shoot still images. The camera itself is tilt-able within 30 degrees, so you can get a great angle regardless of your stance or activity. GoPro’s Digital Hero 3 is a perfect answer/gift for those who surf, swim, or just like to play around at the beach. The 3 megapixel waterproof cam can flip up or lock-in flat, takes still photos and up to 54 minutes of 640 x 480 pixel video and sound with 16 Mb of internal memory (expandable up to 2GB with an SD card.) It can handle depths of 30 meters, is attachable to wrist, handlebars, ankle, etc. and can be used in always-on mode for simplicity in shooting. At a size of only 1.25 x 1.75 x 2.6-inches and a weight of 4.5 ounces, the Hero comes with 2 AAA batteries and can be hooked up to your PC by USB or RCA connection. We loved the concept of the GoPro Digital Hero 3 that we saw at CES. It’s a small digital camera that straps to your wrist. It’s ultra-secure, so no worries about dropping it, and the images look fantastic. Perfect when hiking, skiing, or sporting events when you want a camera near at all times but don’t want to have to worry about putting it away and taking it out repeatedly.
