Casio Releases Latest EXILIM

Casio has unveiled its latest EXILIM digital cam, the Zoom EX-Z9. The compact camera features 8.1 megapixels of image res with a 3X optical zoom, a 2.6-inch LCD display, anti-shake DSP and 23 shot modes. Available in your choice of black, silver, pink, or orange, the digicam also has the company’s YouTube capture mode that allows you to record and upload videos in three simple steps. Less expensive than its brother, the EX-S880, the EX-Z9 will be available sometime this month with a $159.99 price.

Casio has come up with a USB Egg-Shaped Label Printer that produces instant self-sticking notes for binders, video and audio cassettes, messages, or addresses up to about 50mm in length with a 8mm maximum width. It will print the current date, time, and words in any language that is installed on your PC. It features preset label templates for automatic font and typeface settings. The Printer comes with a roll of thermal paper, a handy stand, a USB cable, and driver CD for $29.00.
