LG is launching its PC12DAB iDock with built-in speakers. The gloss black device features red ambient lighting, an integrated slot loading CD player, DAB radio, and audio jack for the iPodless. It will also function as an alarm and can copy music for CDs with its USB port. Equalization controls feature, pop, classical, jazz and flat settings. Available sometime this month for £200 (~$394.00,) we think that a subtle blue would have been much more serene.

Claiming to be the thinnest MP4 player on the planet, Chinavasion’s device is only 4.5mm wide and holds 4GB of internal flash memory. It also features button control, a mic recorder, and FM tuner. Fluent in almost 20 languages, it is USB 2.0 and 1.1 compatible, has a 1.8-inch (160x280 resolution) screen, and a bit rate of 32 to 320Kbps. At Computex 2008 in Taipei, Taiwan, AverMedia shows off their new digital TV Tuner solution for the Mac. It looks like a competent solution, and it’s great to see more TV tuner hardware that’s OSX compatible.

Look for it by the end of 2008. Pricing is likely to be on par with the other Volar series, which is around $100.
