In addition, they even have pockets meant to hold on to USB sticks, which we guess the pockets on your regular jeans are no good for? We took some time to chat with MPower at CES 2010, and they gave us a quick demo of their Emergency Illuminator flashlight device. Definitely unique, as it has two battery compartments - one for standard, and one for a super-long lasting battery. In addition, the flashlight sports a USB port, which you can use to charge, say, your mobile phone, in the event of an emergency.

I’ve had a chance to try out the Blue Microphones Eyeball, and it’s a pretty good webcam. Blue Microphones has just recently announced the Eyeball 2.0. It has the same basic design as its predecessor with a retractable camera lens and big microphone, but includes a higher-quality lens and 2-megapixel camera. It is available now for $79.99, but you can get it at $56 from Amazon.

Not being content at being the world’s biggest bookstore or having the lion’s share of the reader market, Amazon has just recently announced their line of audio/video and computer cables, launched under the AmazonBasics brand. Right now, the Amazon cable line will include HDMI, USB, and FireWire cables, CD-Rs, DVR+R, DVD-R, networking cables and other various home theater cables.

There is never a shortage of USB flash drives on the market, and what makes Transcend’s JetFlash V70 different is its rubber coating. It is capable of surviving some good drops, which is important when you are lugging several of these things around. And don’t get me started on the importance of the tethered cap holder.
