Pretty much every PC has a horrible built-in microphone, so if you are looking to do Skype chats, podcast recordings, Twitch streaming, dictation, or anything else that requires great audio - you'll end up sounding pretty horrible if you don't have a great mic. You don't need to know what the BEST PC microphone is, but you just need something decent enough to capture your voice without making you sound like you are in a wind tunnel. In 2016, I focused mostly on the Technics audio hardware--but this year it was all about the Future Tech Lab. Google Pixel vs. Nexus 6P: Which is the Better Android Smartphone?

The Pixel and the Nexus are like brothers from another mother. On the one hand, you've got Google's best from last year and on the other, Google's best from this year. But how does the Nexus 6P stack up against the Pixel, one year later? Let's find out.
If you look at design, they're pretty far apart. The 6P's metal build with a visor up top is definitely premium but so is the Pixel's metal and glass combination. Their size comes down to personal preference but you can pick up the Pixel over the Pixel XL if size matters to you.

Vizio M50-D1 4K HDR TV SmartCast display review

This is the time of year where many are looking to score a new TV hopefully at a great price. This year, we have a few new acronyms that people need to take into consideration when making a purchase: 4K, HDR, and WCG. If you’re familiar, then you know I’m talking about Ultra HD, High Dynamic Range, and Wide Color Gamut. All three represent a very positive shift in the TV viewing experience, and if you want all three you can end up spending a pretty penny. However, if you are just looking for a nice display with a fantastic feature that supports all the latest standards, then the 2016 Vizio M-Series should be on your list.
