Johnson'sJohnson’s Baby is planning a mom blog directory as a way for moms to connect and communicate across the blogosphere, Johnson & Johnson announced today. The as yet unnamed blog directory is set to go live this fall.

Johnson’s Baby has apparently setup this blog directory to let moms find other mom bloggers through keyword content searches and tags, as well as similar interests, number of children and region of the country. The directory will also provide tools for moms who want to start blogging. Johnson & Johnson added they had recruited a panel of “top mom bloggers” to serve as advisors, perhaps trying to give this new directory a higher degree of legitimacy so it is not seen as just a marketing gimmick.

Netflix HQ

So, my boy Mike over at HackingNetflix went over to Netflix HQ for a tour and interview with Netflix CEO Reed Hastings. While there, he also snapped a bunch of photos of both the outside and inside of the building. Based on the images, we are impressed. I mean, how many companies out there have conference rooms likened after The Matrix or Edward Scissorhands? We have a couple more pictures after the jump, but you can see them all in the HackingNetflix album on Zooomr.

And at prices starting at under $400 for a live feed, why wouldn’t couples offer it?

Digital HomeA major player in wireless transmission of music and video says that a purely wireless and digital home is still about a decade away. Sonos CEO John MacFarlane believes that although both Redmond and Cupertino are banking on the technology, as well as third party hardware companies like Belkin and Philips, consumer interest and technology are still in their infancy.

The issue may be that the technology relies on home networking, and at current time, only 1 in 6 users have a network.  This is largely due to the “flashing VCR” crowd not understanding what a home network can really do.  When all that changes, the tipping point for consumer interst and technology isn’t far behind.
