iPad Pro Rose Gold

During its Let Us Loop You In event, Apple announced an expansion of the iPad Pro lineup, introducing a new 9.7-inch model that brings over all of the features from the larger 12.9-inch version, including support for the Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil. Apple actually improved upon the specs of the larget iPad Pro, bringing features like True Tone display (which adjusts the white balance of the display on the fly, depending on the lighting conditions of the surrounding area), and better cameras to the mid-sized model - you get a 12 megapixel camera on the new model, compared to 8 megapixel on the larger version, and the front camera is 5 megapixels rather than 1.2 megapixels. Additionally, Apple is providing a rose gold color for the 9.7-inch iPad Pro.

One other change to the iPad Pro lineup is that, for the first time ever, iOS devices will be sold with a 256GB option. This applies to both iPad Pro models. You can pick up the new 9.7-inch iPad Pro starting at 32GB for $599, 128GB for $749, and 256GB for $899 for the Wi-Fi models. If you want Wi-Fi + Cellular, pricing is $729, $879, and $1029 respectively.

Apple iPhone SE

During its Let Us Loop You In event, Apple announced the new iPhone SE. Citing the demand from iPhone owners who don't want a larger display than what was offered on the iPhone 5 series of devices, the iPhone SE maintains the 4-inch display that was found on the iPhone 5 and 5S, but upgrades everything under the hood. It's powered by the far more capable Apple A9 and M9 chips, which are found in the current iPhone 6S flagships. The camera is also brought over from the latest models, giving the iPhone SE an upgraded 12 megapixel camera which supports Live Photos and shoots in 4K. Apple Pay support is also onboard, as is 802.11ac Wi-Fi and "Hey Siri" hands-free control. All-in-all Apple says the new iPhone SE is twice as fast as the iPhone 5S that it replaces.

The iPhone SE starts at $399 for the 16GB model, which makes it the cheapest iPhone ever. If you need more storage than that 16GB, there's also a 64GB model for $499. You can order ir starting on March 24.

iPhone SE

Apple is reportedly working on launching a 4-inch iPhone model dubbed the iPhone SE. Similar to what Apple has done with the iPhone 5c version albeit, in this case, with upgraded specs that are akin to the iPhone 6; perhaps higher. This is great news for those that find the bigger smartphones a bit unwieldy but without sacrificing cutting edge specs.

The iPhone SE design is slated to look closer to the iPhone 5s but with tapered edges mimicking the iPhone 6 design. A hybrid of sorts. All the newer bells and whistles will be included such as Apple’s in-house designed silicon A9 processor, M9 co-processor, perhaps all-in-one chip, “Hey Siri”, full Live Photo support, and an improved 8-megapixal iSight camera. Also rumored is Touch ID/Apple Pay features and, of course, upgraded wireless capabilities. Storage will likely be 16GB and 64GB. I must say, you might as well pony up for the 64GB version because 16GB is so 2007.

Mark your calendars for March 21st because it’s that time of year again where Apple reveals all the new cool gear. There’s a high probability that iPhone SE might go on sale as quick as March 25th.

New Nintendo 3DS XL

The console combines next-generation portable gaming with super-stable 3D technology and added control features. Take 3D photos, connect with friends, and enhance your gaming experiences with added amiibo support. The New Nintendo 3DS XL system plays all Nintendo DS games (although, those won’t appear in 3D.) Also, if you buy one, keep in mind that the AC Adapter is sold separately. It uses the same AC adapter as the Nintendo DSi, Nintendo 3DS, and Nintendo 2DS, so you might already have one.

iPhone 6s & 6s Plus

During it's Hey Siri, Give Us a Hint event, Apple unveiled the new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus smartphones. The updated smartphones still sport the 4.7-inch Retina HD display for the 6s and 5.5-inch Retina HD display for the 6s Plus, but there's a lot of new stuff that Apple is bringing to the table with this years flagship models:

  • 12 megapixel iSight Camera: Apple has bumped the megapixel count in the iPhone for the first time in 4 years, going from 8 megapixels to 12. This is a 50% increase in pixels, and with it comes 50% more focus pixels, making autofocus even faster than before as well.
  • 5 megapixel FaceTime HD camera: Another big improvement, as the front camera on the iPhone goes from 1.8 megapixels to 5.0. Apple will use the display itself as the True Tone Retina Flash for those selfies you need to take while in the dark.
  • 4K video recording: You can now shoot 4K video directly from the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus
  • 3D Touch: This is one of the tentpole features. The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus can now sense depth. This is similar to Force Touch on the Apple Watch, but much more advanced. Pushing down on different elements throughout iOS will allow you to select shortcuts, preview information with the "peek" gesture, go further into that data with the "pop" gesture, and more.
  • A9 processor: Apple's A9 processor offers 70% faster performance and 90% faster graphics than the previous A8 chip. Not only will things feel much faster, but games are now "console quality" according to Apple.
  • Touch ID Second Generation: Apple has doubled the speed of the Touch ID sensor
  • Wi-Fi speeds doubled
  • LTE Advanced with support for 23 LTE bands, and speeds that are twice as fast
  • Live Photos: This might have been the coolest thing Apple showed today. The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will capture 1.5 seconds before and after you take your photo

The new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will be available in silver, space gray, gold, and a new rose gold color option. Be sure to check out our iPhone 6s pricing guide.
