Dell RED Laptops

Dell has joined the (PRODUCT)RED cause with original artwork on their Dell Studio 15 and 17 models, the XPS One 24 desktop, the V505W all-in-one printer, and the XPS M1330 and XPS M1530 laptops. The artwork has been done by Joseph Amedokpo, Siobhan Gunning and Bruce Mau, and the company claims that since it is permanently infused, it will help protect the devices. So if you are thinking of giving/getting one this holiday season, remember that Dell will contribute $20.00 to the Global Fund for every one sold.

Zune Rabbit

It seems that every time we turn around, Zune has a new design. This time it is their Zodiac Series. Custom laser engraved, there are all 12 from the Western Zodiac from MS graphic designers and all of the animals from the Chinese years, which were designed by Iosefatu Sua. Choose your Zune, pick your etching for a little extra coinage, and you will also get access to matching wallpaper and playlists chosen by the artists.

LED Bath LightA while back we found a shower head that measures temperature and changes colors, but for bath fanatics, there is an LED Bath Light that does so much more. It not only displays temperature by colors and numbers, it can be put in Color Mode for when you are feeling frisky and Candle Mode when you want calm. Flashlight Mode is simply bright and solid. It also has its own charging base. Designed by Kai Chen, it is an upgrade on his original prototype lamp.

Math Lamp

If you’ve graduated beyond elementary math, this wall lamp created by Mingyu Jeung will be happy to turn on for you after you solve a randomly generated equation. If math really isn’t your thing – or you run out of fingers to count on – the integrated chalkboard may be your new best friend (though I wonder how you would see what you were writing…). As far as we can tell, problems appear to be of the simple add/subtract/multiply/divide variety, but a clever prankster would throw in a random calculus problem just to keep you on your toes.
