Cinema 21:9

Philips is in the midst of developing a 56-inch LCD TV with a 21:9 aspect ratio. The Cinema is supposed to be more like a film screen, which is always a good thing. The TV will feature the company’s Ambilight bordered technology. Unfortunately, unless you are in Germany, Belgium, France or the UK, the wait may be a long one. Philips is hoping to release their new creation this spring, far enough away to start stockpiling microwave popcorn and Raisinettes.

PMP WatchNow you can wear your tunes on your wrist with DigiFi’s Opera PMP watch. It features both MP3 and MP4 compatibility, a color display, a pedometer and, of course, a watch. It also has a Kleer wireless transmitter to send CD-quality sound to any Kleer-based headphones or receiver. The timepiece is scheduled to come out in the next few months at a price of about $200.00 and we certainly hope it comes in more colors than pukey pink.

Runflier StalkerRussian Designer/Inventor Alexander Begak has designed the Runflier Stalker, the next generation of his Evolution. The airborne vehicle takes off from a short runway and can travel almost a thousand miles without refueling at a speed of up to 124 mph. It is made of Kevlar and weighs only about 300 lbs. Because it is made of the plastic material, it is invisible to radar and can take photos both day and night, as well as perform mapping and patrolling duties. Look for the Stalker in a war near you.
