Inamo restaurant E-Table digital dining and interactive menu

Inamo is a futuristic restaurant in the Soho district of London. The fusion of technology, and Asian-inspired interior design makes Inamo a destination restaurant on the bleeding edge of innovation. Inamo’s interactive dining experience is like nothing you've ever seen or tasted before. The illustrated food and drink menus are powered by E-Table technology, and Canon projectors display mouthwatering menu options on the Corian tables. The tables include round preview screens shaped like plates, allowing customers to interact with any menu item before placing an order.

Allowing customers to preview menu options is not the only trick in Inamo’s digital dining bag. Customers can watch the kitchen webcam, change the table background, watch movie trailers from Paramount Pictures UK, browse information about the local community, play games, watch short films, and even call the “I drank too much" taxi, directly from their E-table.

Project Magazine

The new iPad-only magazine entitled “Project” was launched yesterday. Helmed by Richard Branson, Project is available as an iPad magazine where issues cost $2.99 each. A subscription option through iTunes is thought to be the next step for the magazine, and may be announced December 9th at a media event.

The cover of the inaugural issue loans the talents of Jeff Bridges, toting an exclusive story on Tron 2. Project uses features such as “Spine”, “Action Buttons”, and “Plus Panels” that make the magazine more than simply a print-to-digital carbon copy. As such, the iPad-only magazine has the potential to be a new form of media. However, whether it lasts or not is a question we will see answered over the deciding next few months.

Pixelated Cartman

Have you ever wondered what your favorite video game heroes, cartoon characters, or washed-up TV stars would look like if they were composed entirely of 16 pixels? If you have, then you're either a part of the aptly title blog "4x4 Pixels", or you did a little too much peyote your last time in Vegas.

4x4 Pixels is an experimental pixel art project by David Stoll that reduces popular characters into pixelated versions of their former selves.

Can you guess who the above character is?

Here's a little hint: "Screw you guys...I'm going home!"

Inspiron duo

Once again the innovation of the iPad creators has caused everyone to salivate at the mouth for a bite of the Apple. As such, tablets have become the hot ticket this year, though many of which failed to be worthy of being mentioned in the iPad’s presence (we’re looking at you, Archos.) However, there have been some tablets commendable enough to be spoken in the same breath as Apple’s pad, and the Dell Inspiron Duo aims to not only share that airspace, but one-up it as well.

The Inspiron Duo is a “tri-mode” device. This means that it is all at once a laptop complete with a keyboard and 10.1-inch display; a movie screen with an optional dock; and a touch-screen tablet separate from the laptop design.
