These Korean Transformers are clever enough if you are thinking gifts. One of the cameras is in the shape of a 35mm roll of film. Curiously, you have to load a 35mm roll of film to get it to operate. The other is disguised as a coffee can and thankfully is not powered by a shot of caffeine. Each is 65 x 141mm, and will set you back 27,000 KRW (~$20.00) at 10x10.

Video recording coming with next iPhone
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Apple, Cameras, Smartphones, Handhelds, Rumors,
We’ve been hearing that video recording would be coming to the iPhone for a while, but now we’ve got the evidence to back it up. Our friends over at MacRumors got ahold of a leaked screenshot showing a toggle within the Camera app that lets you choose between snapping a photo and recording a video. In order to enable the feature, plist config files in the current iPhone 3.0 firmware need to be edited so as to make it appear that a video camera is present. Other hidden features include a compass, camera auto-focus, and voice control, which we assume is for voice dialing.
One would imagine that new features like these would require some sort of newly updated iPhone to take advantage of them. Coincidentally, the iPhone 3.0 software will be made available in June—just in time for the next iPhone to launch. We are officially excited.

UK Residents Block Google Street View Car
Posted by Sheila Franklin Categories: Cameras, Google, Internet, Transportation,
Many areas in the UK, such as shopping centers and streets, have surveillance cameras. But Broughton residents had had enough and formed a human chain to keep out a car that was shooting for Google Street View. Paul Jacobs noticed the car and got ticked off enough to round up his neighbors to block the road. By the time the police showed up, the car had left the area. This is not the first time Street View has had complaints. Pictures of shelters for battered woman in the U.S. were previously removed.
