We read not too long ago about a couple that left their video camera on while they were at work to see what their dog did when they were away. It turns out that the canine took out all of his toys from a box when they left and returned them when he heard the car pull up. So how sneaky is this Wonderful Shot by Tomy? This, and many images like it, were recently posted on Facebook. Readers were told that the lady in question had lost her digital camera and had left it and photos behind as clues as to her identity. Apparently the page attracted thousands of admirers, who posted comments like this one from Martin Farrell, from London, “I thought I saw her today in Chiswick but it was a false alarm, the hunt continues.”
It was finally admitted that it was simply a viral marketing campaign for a porn site and that the lady in question is Wendy, one of its models. It just goes to show that in advertising, sex continues to sell.

Plug Into The Sun to Recharge

Posted by Sheila Franklin Categories: Cameras, Smartphones, Handhelds, Misc. Tech, Portable Audio / Video,
The universal Solio can handle all your charging needs either by sun or wall plug. Use it on your MP3 player, digital cam, handheld game, cell phone, GPS, or Bluetooth headset. In an emergency, one hour of sun will provide about 25 minutes of talk time on your mobile phone or up to an hour of iPod tunes, and when it is fully charged it can handle a full charge on most phones and nanos. It comes with interchangeable power tips and offers extras for $10.00 each, while the device itself will set you back $99.95. You receive $10.00 off if you order it in pukey pink, proving once again that even girly girls don’t really prefer gadgets in that shade.

You can then save it on a memory card. Still at the prototype stage, we suspect it will not be long before it comes to a retailer near you.
