Now you can have remote surveillance with no PC connection. The Zrad IP Cam has its own web server with a CMOS sensor, DVR at 30 fps(640x480) maximum and transport, and DDNS support. It can also display your 16-CH images and capture JPEG images simultaneously. The included bracket can be mounted to vertical surfaces and the cam itself has a built-in pan and tilt. EasyDica Camera Makes Photography Simple Again…Perhaps too Simple?

Posted by Lolita Beckwith Categories: Accessories, USB, Cameras,

We loooooove our digital camera, don’t get us wrong. But all the myriad settings, buttons, menus and whatnot can be a bit much sometimes. That’s why we appreciate the concept of the EasyDica camera from Yanko. It’s ultra-tiny, ultra-thin, has no settings or even an LCD screen. Just a viewfinder and one sole button to snap your masterpiece. Not much information is available about it, but apparently, the EasyDica recharges (and presumably uploads photos) via its USB port. Strangely, there’s no info on pricing or availability, but we’re very intrigued…

It’s not like we never mention the iPhone around here, so we felt it only fitting to toss in an accessory for the gadget. The Motorola 6x optical zoom lens might be a possibility. This simple clear case clicks over the camera and its eye on your phone’s back. It might look a little weird but at $15.00, it’s worth a shot (pun intended.) The lens will work with many other models of cell phones as well. Let us know your results should you try one out.

Olympus has two digital compacts to add to their Stylus line, the 1030 SW and 850 SW (shock and water-proof.) The 850 features an 8 MP sensor, a 2.5-inch HyperCrystal II LCD display, and a 3x optical zoom. Drop it up to 5 feet and it bounces back, figuratively speaking.
