Minoru 3D WebcamWith the Minoru (which means “reality”) Webcam from Novo and a pair of glasses, you can see in 3D via Skype, Microsoft Live Messenger and other IMs. It apparently also makes 3D images and videos that can then be uploaded to social sites such as YouTube, although those wanting to see it will need glasses, too. Arriving in December at a price of $100.00, we figure that this is a bit overpriced and overcomplicated.

The LUMIX DMC-G1 has no internal mirror structure that is used in DSLR cameras so the size and weight has been halved. The camera’s flange back has been reduced from 40 to 20mm. The G1 will be available in the U.S. soon, comes in black, red and blue, and carries a MSRP of $799.99.

Epson Toyocom DisplayPhotography 101 taught us the the faster the shutter speed, the less blur. But because most cell phone cameras cannot be adjusted, most images come out fuzzy at best. Epson Toyocom has addressed the issue with anti-shake technology. It predicts the amount of blur before the moment the shutter is released as opposed to current technology that measures it at release. Cost is expected to be lower because the microcontroller and sensor needed are less expensive than such technology as a dedicated optical system and a memory chip.

They then send them from all around the planet and are now attempting to document and share what they are doing via Yahoo mapping. Some of the bikes will be passed around between bloggers, Yahoo users and others, so if you would like to be one of them, or just want to see what they are up to, check out the PPP website.
