Vinamor review

The Vinamor wine aerator, the concept of Gary DeJohn, was featured on ABC's Shark Tank with an impressive demo that showcased just how well the product can bring out all the flavors of a just-opened bottle of wine. The Vinamor has a stainless steel filter and a glass sphere that work together to aerate your wine. It sits atop your wine glass, and as you pour wine through the filter, it's exposed to the large surface area of the glass sphere, which in turn softens tannins and brings out flavor while the filter catches and sediment that may be present. Or, at least, that's the promise. How well does the $40 Vinamor actually perform? Join us in our full Vinamor review for our thoughts.

Jawbone Jambox remix colors

You probably know by now that we're big fans of Jawbone and the Jambox speaker. Previously, you had a few color combinations to choose from, but couldn't really make it your own. That's all set to change though, as the company is set to begin allowing customers to choose between 9 different cap colors and 13 different colors for the speaker grill. There won't be any additional charge for the color remixing, so the Jambox will continue to sell for $199. Do note that the Big Jambox doesn't apply, and will remain available in its three color choices. With all that out of the way, who's down for a little gold and orange?

Product Red bumper case iPhone 4S

Apple is set to unveil its next-generation iPhone 5 in a little over three weeks, but that hasn't stopped the company from releasing a new accessory for the iPhone 4 and 4S. The new (PRODUCT) RED bumper fits and works with the iPhone 4S, as well as the iPhone 4 from two years ago. It's $29 and joins the black, white, blue, orange, green, and pink bumpers in the Apple lineup. Oddly, it doesn't ship for 6-8 weeks, when the next iPhone launches. Buyer beware--if you plan on picking up the next iPhone, just realize that this bumper won't fit that model.

Sol Republic deadmau5 headphones

SOL REPUBLIC has announced a new design for its Tracks HD headphones, a result of a collaboration with electronic music artist and DJ, deadmau5. These are just as good as the Tracks HD headphones that you might already be familiar with, so you get the deep bass, crisp vocals, and high clarity in your music. They're also customizable, as the earcups can be removed from the headband. The art is certainly unique though, and we're a sucker for orange. You can pick up the SOL REPUBLIC deadmau5 Tracks HD headphones now for $149.99. Check out one more image of the cans after the jump.

Mini dock connector

Last month iMore reported that Apple was set to unveil the next-generation iPhone and smaller 7.85-inch iPad during a media event to be held on September 12. Now, the site is also reporting that we will likely see a refresh of the entire iOS line at the event.

The report goes on to say that the reason for the mass refresh is to bring the new, smaller dock connector to all iOS devices. This would include the new iPhone 5, updated iPod touch, new iPod nano, the 7.85-inch iPad mini, and even an updated version of the third-generation iPad.

If true, this would mark the first time that Apple has deviated from the spring release and refresh date for the iPad, however, with the introduction of a new dock connector, we can see a minor update reflecting that change in order to bring on fast adoption of the updated standard.

ChargeCard iPhone charger

How many times have you been in a situation where your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad was on the verge of death and you didn't have a charge cable with you to charge it up? It's happened to us more times than we'd like to admit, and that's where the ChargeCard comes in.

The ChargeCard has the standard 30-pin Apple dock connector on one side, and a slim USB connector on the other. It folds up to just about the size of a credit card for easy storage in your wallet. End result? You always have an iPhone charger on you. As long as you have a USB port to plug into, you are good.

ChargeCard is currently a Kickstarter project. They've got 37 more days to reach the goal of $50,000, and it's already at $38,456. If you want a chance to get one of your own, you can pledge $20 to pre-order. If the campaign is successful (and it looks like it definitely will be) you'll receive your ChargeCard when it ships in September.

The Belkin Mini Surge Protector with USB charging is a gadget that we bring with us pretty much everywhere we go. In fact, we have three of them in different rooms at Gear Live, plus another couple that we keep in travel bags. It's become an essential gadget. Why? It's a surge protector with three grounded outlets, and also includes two USB charge ports as well. That means you can power up to five devices at once with this bad boy. They typically cost $19.99, but you can grab one today for $11.99 with free shipping, saving you 40%, with coupon code EXM65392. Type Cover Microsoft Surface

The Touch Cover is a futuristic multitouch keyboard accessory for the Microsoft Surface tablet that brings a thin profile and a measure of protection, but for those of you who'd prefer a tried and true tactile keyboard with real trackpad buttons, you'll wanna get a look at the Type Cover. Since the Touch Cover is a capacitive touch keyboard without any moving keys, it's the slimmer of the two, measuring in at 3mm thin compared to the Type Cover's 5mm thickness.
