VW Creates LG PMP, for Those Who are iPodless
Volkswagen has decided that rather than making all their cars iPod-friendly as they did with the iGolf, they would make a few extra bucks for themselves and create their own PMP player, the LG FM37. Available in 3 shades of their cars, it features the VW logo and a 2.4-inch touch screen LCD. The FM37 can play MP3s, MPEG-4s, Windows Media Video 9, WMA and Ogg formats. Its battery should last up to 20 hours on a good day. Unfortunately, there is no launch date or price available, but perhaps at some point they will just include it as an accessory for those of us who want a new Beetle and don’t yet have an iPod.
