Wind Turbine Powered by the Sun
Gadget.dk has gotten the green thing going with their portable Wind Turbine Kit. Approximately 20% of the energy used in Denmark is supplied by these gadgets which are solar powered. The company claims that they are easy to build with only 11 parts (glue included) and the panel is powerful enough to use with the sun or a normal desk light. The turbine measures 24 x 9.5 cm with a rotor diameter of 21 cm and carries a MSRP of DKK 24900 (~$44.79.) Batteries are not included. (We just wanted to see if you were paying attention.)
