Dell Enters the Real World
Dell has decided to offer its PCs in the retail market after its years of sales by phone, mail, and the Internet. Where did they choose to display their worldly goods? Wal-mart, of course, home of the ever tacky and ever cheap. The company is hoping that they will be able to compete against HP, which is now the planet’s biggest PC Maker. They will be offering their
lowest priced Dimension desktops in about 3,500 of Wal-marts in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico beginning June 10 for less than $700.00.
