Marvel Comics Kills Off Captain America
Let’s share five minutes of silence for the loss of Steve Rogers aka Captain America. Shot on the steps of the Capitol building in yesterday’s edition of the Marvel comic, he was approximately 65 years old at the time of his death. While some sources have stated that perhaps they were making a political statement with CA’s demise, co-creator Jack Kirby feels that Captain America still lives in all of us. Besides, not only will there be a 5 part event to follow up, we hear there is a CA movie in the works. Just as Superman was resurrected from comic heaven, we’re hoping the Captain shall return, hopefully in classier garb.
