Johnson & Johnson Launching Mom Blogger Directory

Johnson’s Baby is planning a mom blog directory as a way for moms to connect and communicate across the blogosphere, Johnson & Johnson announced today. The as yet unnamed blog directory is set to go live this fall.

Johnson’s Baby has apparently setup this blog directory to let moms find other mom bloggers through keyword content searches and tags, as well as similar interests, number of children and region of the country. The directory will also provide tools for moms who want to start blogging. Johnson & Johnson added they had recruited a panel of “top mom bloggers” to serve as advisors, perhaps trying to give this new directory a higher degree of legitimacy so it is not seen as just a marketing gimmick.
