Eizo Unveils Foris TV Line

Posted by Sheila Franklin Categories: Home Entertainment, Movies

Foris TVEizo has announced their new line of Foris TVs, which they hope will be able to compete for your Christmas dollar. The SC20XD2, SC26XD2, and SC32XD2 have integrated analog/digital tuners, a 1366 x 768 resolution, 500 cd/m2 brightness, Ethernet technology, HDMI input, and a built-in DVD player.

The Foris’ come in black, blue, gray, brown, and red, and have a 176º viewing angle for the 20-inch and a 178º angle for the 26 and 32-inch models. The SC32XD2 also features a remote controlled moveable base. All three will be available in Japan in mid-November with a MSRP of ¥136,500 (~$1,197) for the SC20XD2, ¥189,000 (~$1,657) for the SC26XD2, and ¥225,000 (~$1,973) for the SC32XD2. They may not be pretty, but we like the idea of that remote base replacing our Elvis pic with those eyes that follow you around.
