Dell to Release Cheaper PC in China

Greedy, greedy, greedy. Dell has decided to release a less expensive PC to appease the consumers in China. Although the company is the second largest manufacturer on the planet, it ranks third in sales in China to Lenovo Group Ltd. and Founder Technology, who sell their units for roughly 5,000 yuan ($647.00.) Dell’s idea is to price their competing PCs at 2,599 to 3,999 yuan (~$335.00 to $520.00.)

Chief Executive Michael Dell has also decided that if this move is successful, it will look into other emerging markets overseas such as India and Brazil. Listen up, Mr. Dell. There are plenty of us in the U.S. market that would like a less expensive computer, but we would like one that actually performs as well as other top of the line PCs. Do you think you could work on that when you finish your jet-setting tour?
