Where to see an exclusive Jurassic World 4K Ultra HD clip

When Jurassic Park was originally released back when I was a kid, I thought it was one of the best movies I had ever seen (in fact, it probably was, given my young age!) Seeing dinosaurs look so realistic was something you had to see, and the only way to truly experience the scope of the movie and the details in the CGI was to see it in a movie theater.

Now, here we are some 22 years later, and fourth movie in the series, Jurassic World, is set to be released in a week-and-a-half. Television technology has evolved to the point where the home viewing of today rivals the cinema experience of yesteryear. Last night I took a trip over to Best Buy so that I could check out the exclusive Jurassic World clip being shown on Samsung SUHD Ultra 4K television sets.

I’ve actually been in the market for a new 4K television. I’ve been weighing my options between the difference brands, and I keep coming back to Samsung’s JS9500 line of 4K units, which include a wide color gamut and the coveted high dynamic range (HDR) feature, which provides deeper blacks and amazing contrast. More colors, and a brighter, truer-to-life picture, thanks to new nano-crystal panel technology. Of course, when combined with a 4K panel, you get a stunning picture that has 4x the resolution of your common 1080p full HD display.

Needless to say, the Jurassic World clip looked great, and being able to see the Samsung SUHD sets in person likely solidified my decision in what set I’ll be upgrading to in my living room. Best Buy is showing the clip across the US between now and June 13th in stores that have the Samsung Entertainment Experience Shops.
