Yesterday we were given the opportunity to check out the first US-based Boeing 787 Dreamliner, purchased by United Airlines. We'll be giving you our full thoughts on the aircraft, but in the meantime, we put together a bunch of images showing off the plane. This one highlights the United 787 Dreamliner exterior. Casey Neistat $13,238.86 left in taxi

Have you ever left anything in a cab? We know plenty who've lost iPhone and Android devices, tablets, laptops, and other expensive gadgetry, but Casey Neistat accidentally left over $13,000 in expensive technology in his taxi. After going through the frustrating process of filing reports with the taxi company, making calls, and getting a police report filed, he wondered if he'd get his stuff back at all. Seriously, how likely is it that you leave something expensive in a taxi and expect to get it back? Normally the item is found by another passenger, or the taxi driver himself, and then disappears for good. Not this time.

EDIT: And here you go:

Amazon Instant Video iPad

Today Amazon has released its long-awaited Instant Video iPad app on Apple's App Store. If you're an Amazon Prime member, this means that you have access to the entire Prime Instant Video catalog, but anyone can access purchased content on-demand as well. We've been playing with it this morning, and it works just as you'd expect it to, with badges indicating which pieces of content are available for free to Prime members.

One nice bonus is that the app supports AirPlay, essentially bringing Amazon Instant Video to your Apple TV. Sure, it's not built-in like Netflix or the newly-added Hulu Plus, but it still allows you to enjoy Amazon's streaming catalog on your television if you own an Apple TV. You can download the free Amazon Instant Video app now.

Google Wallet Update

In our opinion, the one big factor that limited the appeal of Google Wallet was the fact that it has only been compatible with CitiBank MasterCard. Not exactly something that the masses have in their wallets. Today, that changes, as Google has announced that Wallet is now compatible with all Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover debit and credit cards. That's progress!

Also added is a remote wipe feature that allows users to disable Google Wallet remotely, blocking usage of the app with that device and clearing off card and transaction data as well.

You can now use Google Wallet to pay at over 200,000 locations across the US. You can download the new update today from Google Play.

New iPhone 5

After iMore broke the news that sources indicated that Apple would announce the next iPhone on September 12 with the launch of the device happening nine days later on the 21st, more outlets have independently confirmed the scoop. Publications that have chimed in include The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, All Things D, and even Jim Dalrymple at The Loop (he's likely the most trustworthy of the bunch.) This means that interested iPhone buyers have just six weeks to wait until Apple announces its next flagship product, and one more week on top of that to get their hands on it.

The design of the next iPhone has likely leaked multiple times, and is expected to feature a taller 4-inch display, two-toned rear casing, built-in NFC, and other improvements, including a new, smaller dock connector.

Hulu Plus Apple TV

In a move that's far overdue, Apple has finally launched Hulu Plus on the Apple TV. A software update was released early this morning that adds the Hulu Plus app to the second- and third-generation Apple set-top-box, but it's a behind-the-scenes update. All you need to do is restart your Apple TV if you don't see Hulu Plus on the home screen.

Users can get a 1-week trial, log in with their existing Hulu Plus account, or subscribe right from the Apple TV using their connected iTunes account.

Decide.com Scores

We've covered Decide before--it's the shopping search engine that's focused on telling you when you should buy certain products, based on when they'll be cheapest. For example, if you are looking to buy a Panasonic Lumix ZS20 camera, Decide would tell you if now is a good time, or if you should wait a week or two, when the price is expected to drop. They even stand behind their predictions with a money-back guarantee.

One complaint that we had about the service was that, sure, it was easy to recommend products based on pricing trends, but that didn't mean that the product was a good one. Maybe someone has received a significant price drop simply because no one wanted it because it didn't perform as expected. It wouldn't be the first time. Today Decide is aiming to plug that hole with its new product recommendations service.
