Roberts has come up with the nifty Stream 202 radio that plays DAB, FM, and WiFi if you have a broadband connection with wireless router or Ethernet. Stream your computer’s stored tunes, listen to stations all over the planet, and save your faves with 15 presets. The Stream also features an intuitive menu, 2 alarm timers, an aux. input for MP3 player, and a socket for headphones. At a size of 300 x 174 x 115mm and a weight of 1.47kg, the radio comes with an AC adaptor or can run on 6 D batteries (not included.) It carries a price of £149.99 (~$292.00.)

We have seen lots of clothing for catching WiFi signals, so it is no surprise that Nike Dunks have the same built-in. Named “A Step in the Right Direction,” the sneakers were designed by MSTRPLN and Ubiq. There are 3 LEDs on the flap enclosure that will go solid when it registers a signal up to 50 meters. Amidst all the Zune news of the past day, we were curious to get the pulse out there. How excited are you about the whole Zune Social thing? We’ve gotta admit, when we saw some of the ideas that the peeps over at Microsoft came up with as it pertains to music discovery within Zune, powered by your social network, we were kinda digging it. So, what say you? Have you gone and customized a Zune Card for yourself, maybe even syncing a few to your Zune device? Do you keep WiFi powered on when you take your device out and about in anticipation of swapping tracks? Or are you one of those who just stay as far away from the Social as possible? Sound off and let us know.

Acoustic Energy is working on what they say will be the planet’s first WiFi Internet Radio. It will be able to reach about 99% of radio stations online through broadband connection anywhere in your house. AE claims there will be no pops, crackles or signal coverage problems. Expected out in November, there will be no subscription fee involved with the radio. Look for a MSRP of ~£199 (~$394.00.) At that price, we think we will stick to radio ramblings via our computer.

Windows XP SP3 now available

A few days ago we told you that Windows XP SP3 would be released April 29. Well, that just happens to be today, so we felt it was our duty to remind you. This long-awaited update to Windows XP is the last, but seriously, we are expecting this to pretty much be the best currently-available version of Windows out there, so get to downloading. If you aren’t seeing it in Windows Update yet, then just go here to grab it manually.

Ever get ticked off at the airport because of a delayed or canceled flight and have to crash there (no pun intended)? There is hope for travelers with the Pod Hotel. $89.00 buys you 7 x 12 feet of sleep space with climate control, an iPod docking station, wireless internet, and LCD TV with no remote. The down side is that you have to share bathrooms, you cannot smoke in them, and there is not much moving around space. Originating in Japan as far back as 1979, they are now available in London and Amsterdam, having been built early this year, as well as one in New York City that was built last year. There are now plans for expansion which sounds to us like a great idea for a budding entrepreneur.

If you are tired of Googling and coming up with stuff that is meta word infested or meant only to make a buck, consider Mahalo beta. Originally launched last year, it’s creator, Jason Calacanis, believes that the “curated web” is the answer. The human-powered search engine claims that it creates organized, spam free searches. Sign up with them, enter your searches and get paid for your efforts (according to relevance and difficulty.) And if you are really into the Mahalo phenomenon, check out their new VlogIdol search for Mahalo Daily which began yesterday or join their Mahalo Social Network.

The $50 million HP Deskjet 460WBT printer?

HP must be throwing some seriously precious metals into their mobile Bluetooth printer these days, judging by the price they are going for on Amazon. A cool $50 million. Oh, plus shipping.
