Although many speculated high temperatures were responsible for ‘s recent performance in Auckland, New Zealand, the singer has since set the record straight.

In an interview with an Australian radio station, the 23-year-old explained that simple exhaustion was what caused her to nearly collapse during that March 13 concert.

“I was so jetlagged, I got in the night before and the jetlag just really caught up with me. I passed out about three times on stage that night but I got myself to the floor,” she recalled.

Miley Cyrus singingThey might not be singing songs from teen idols anymore, but they are going to be mentored by one anyway.

It’s just been announced that American Idol’s remaining 11 contestants will be following up Rolling Stones week with a “Billboard #1 Hits”-themed show. Who will be on hand to help guide the singers on their quest for fame? Someone who’s not even old enough to be considered an adult yet: 17-year-old Miley Cyrus.

Cyrus’ mentoring duties on Tuesday will be followed up by a performance from the singer on Wednesday. (That’s when she’ll sing “When I Look at You,” a song from her upcoming movie The Last Song.) Meanwhile, two other teen stars are also scheduled to sing during this week’s results show. Real-life couple Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato will be on hand to perform “Make A Wave” together.

Glee Madonna-themed soundtrack

Even though it hasn’t yet aired, we now have a clue which songs will be featured during Glee’s Madonna-themed episode.

According to Amazon’s website, Glee: The Music, The Power of Madonna will be released on April 20.

Which covers will we go to hear from the FOX cast? “Express Yourself,” “Borderline/Open Your Heart”, “Vogue”, “Like a Virgin,” “4 Minutes,” “What It Feels Like For A Girl” and “Like a Prayer.”

At this point, we already know Jane Lynch (Sue Sylvester) will be handling “Vogue.” Any guesses as to which characters will be tackling the other songs?

Donny and Marie Osmond

Despite her best efforts to keep the show going, Marie Osmond has opted to take another much-needed break.

It was announced today that Donny and Marie’s show in Vegas will be canceled until March 23. This decision comes approximately a week after the two resumed their Flamingo act and almost three weeks after Marie’s 18-year-old son, Michael Blosil, committed suicide.

During their March 9 return performance, Marie spoke to the audience about Brian. “The way Osmonds survive is we keep singing. That’s what we want to do tonight. I know my son would want that and this show is for him,” she said.

Unfortunately, the grieving mother decided she needed to spend more time with family. “She’s still processing everything and it’s really rough on her,” rep Alan Nierob explained.

George Michael and have ended their long-running feud.

The two pop singers originally fell out after an openly gay Boy George criticized Michael for not coming out as a homosexual earlier his life. They have since worked out their differences.

“We have exchanged emails and things are pretty good between us. We’ve spoken a couple of times and he’s doing OK,” the former Culture Club singer revealed.

50 Cent

50 Cent, who previously claimed that hip hop is “dwindling away,” has already started to record a dance album inspired by club music he’s heard while touring Europe.

“I went to a nightclub after party. It was different music after a while. The music they were playing before they were playing the music I created was more up-tempo, more dance,” he explained. “I wanted to make a song like that, so I went into the studio. Because I’m traveling with my live band, I took the band with me and we sequenced it and recorded the actual record while we was out there.”

The “Baby By Me” rapper said he hopes the new record - working title Black Magic - will show his full diversity as an artist to people.

“I won’t allow myself to be placed in a box where I can only do one style, or do one kind of music,” he added. “They should expect the unexpected on this one. If they can understand how I enjoy different genres of music and different styles, for the people who have various tastes in music, they’ll really like it.”

Donny and Marie Osmond

Las Vegas performers Donny and Marie Osmond have elected to resume their show less than two weeks after a family tragedy.

On Friday, February 26, Marie’s 18-year old son jumped to his death from his apartment building in Los Angeles. Michael Blosil, one of Marie’s eight children, cited depression as his reason in a suicide note.

Since that time, the entertainers’ program at the Flamingo hotel has been on hold. But the popular show will start again on Tuesday, one day after Brian is laid to rest in Utah.

To help make up for the missed performances, the brother-sister team has added five more dates between April 13-17.
