While talking to Angela Yee of “The Morning After,” the rapper revealed that he has reunited with his “My Name Is” collaborator.
"I'm in the studio with Dre now, let's just say that," Eminem teased. "Pretty soon he's going to make a beat and I might rap on it.”
No other details on what the two might be working on were revealed. Could this have anything to do with Dr. Dre’s long-awaited Detox release? "Other than that I can neither confirm nor deny,” Eminem said.

Quote of the Day: Kings of Leon’s Caleb Followill on Hipsters
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Gossip, Rock,
“I hate f**king hipsters. Everyone talks about indie this and indie that, but would you really want to be one of those indie bands that makes two albums and disappears? That’s just sad. ... When we signed on with our manager, we all said we wanted to have a box-set career. We’ll gladly be the next generation of bands that aren’t going anywhere.”

Fergie Stalks Slash in New Music Video
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Collaborations, Music Videos, Rock,
Although I doubt Fergie would ever have to drug a man to get him back to her room, that's exactly what she does in this new music video.
In this clip for "Beautiful Dangerous," the Black Eyed Peas singer arms herself a knife, ropes and very little clothing to keep the ex–Guns N' Roses guitarist exactly where she wants him.
The song is just one of many collaborations on Slash's self-titled album.
After watching the video, let us know what you think of Fergie's acting -- and musical -- performance. Do you like seeing/hearing this side of her?

Prince to Headline at Glastonbury
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Artist News, Concerts / Tours, Pop, R&B / Soul, Rock,
Prince is set to headline next year's Glastonbury festival.
The "Purple Rain" hitmaker has reportedly taken one of the top slots at the UK music festival -- one of Europe's largest -- with U2 and Coldplay also being lined up by organizer Michael Eavis.
"Michael was very keen to get the line-up sorted early and is over the moon at securing such massive acts. He is a huge fan of Prince and has been trying to nab him for years," a source told The Sun. "The fact it's been tied up so quickly is a big, but welcome, shock."
Rockers U2 were forced to pull out of their first-ever appearance at Glastonbury earlier this year after frontman Bono injured his back. Cartoon-led pop band Gorillaz stepped in to replace the band as headliners at the last minute.

Kara DioGuardi, Jewel Tapped for Bravo Songwriting Series
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Gossip,
Kara DioGuardi may not be a part of American Idol any longer, but she is definitely not hurting for a TV job.
It’s just been announced that DioGuardi has been tapped to play head judge on a brand new series for Bravo. The program will focus on an angle of music recently addressed by Elton John: songwriting.
Going Platinum, which will be similar to many of the network’s hit reality shows, will follow 12 musicians as they are tested through a variety of challenges and genres. The winner, as determined by a panel of judges, will receive a number of prizes including deals with Sony and RCA/Jive. They will also receive a $100,000 cash prize.
DioGuardi, who was best known for her songwriting prior to her time on Idol, says she is looking forward to the new gig.
“Hit songs are the backbone of the music industry, and as a publisher, nothing excites me more than finding new songwriting talent,” Kara said in a statement. “I am happy to be a part of a show that helps up and coming songwriters pursue their dreams, while giving the public a look into the creative process.”
The 10-episode series – hosted by singer Jewel -- will debut sometime next year.
