The life of John Lennon will be remembered on Wednesday, December 8 -- the 30th anniversary of his death.

Throughout the day, BBC America will air several specials related to the late artist and his former band. In addition to repeated showings of the film Backbeat, starring Stephen Dorff, the network will broadcast three documentaries: The Beatles: From Liverpool to San Francisco, Imagine: John Lennon and The Beatles Biggest Secrets.

Katy Perry enjoyed Glee's cover of her song so much, she decided to add her voice to the song.

At a benefit this weekend for The Trevor Project, the leading national organization focused on crisis and suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth, Perry joined Glee's Darren Criss and the rest of Dalton Academy's Warblers for a live performance of "Teenage Dream."

Snoop Dogg has recorded a special song for groom-to-be Prince William, which he intends to perform at the upcoming bachelor party.

The song is titled “Wet,” and Snoop’s PR people say it’s the “perfect anthem for Prince William, or any playa to get the club smokin'.”

Prince William will marry longtime girlfriend Kate Middleton on April 29.

Tupac Shakur continues to remain a strong, mysterious musical force, and fans continue to feel the void he left behind ... but perhaps, some of their unanswered questions can still be addressed.

Journalist Kevin Powell has recently inked a deal to bring Tupac Shakur: The Authorized Biography to book stores, giving fans an inside look at the events that shaped, and ended, the rapper’s life.

His mother, Afeni Shakur, said the book is being written with her “full blessings.”

Tupac’s death will also be the center of a big-screen biopic from director (Training Day), which will focus on the events of his last day of life.

A documentary featuring the rapper’s time in jail, titled Uncut: The Lost Prison Tapes is scheduled for release January 26.

While performing "O Holy Night" from her new CD The Gift, the former Britain's Got Talent contestant had difficulty getting through her song.

Although she asked to be given a second chance, East Coast viewers of the show didn't get to see that performance. (Host was quickly called to step in.)

Boyle did, though, get another opportunity to attempt the song for the West Coast. That version of her performance can be seen after the jump.

For , a classic Christmas tune he co-wrote back in 1984 falls into the latter category.

Although that Band Aid track -- which inspired the formation of USA for Africa -- helped raise money for Ethiopia, the song only makes the composer cringe now.

UPDATE: Nelson's charge has been dropped to a misdemeanor.

If Willie Nelson’s luck runs out, it could be a while before he’s back on the road again.

The country legend, who has had several run-ins with the law, was arrested last Friday for another drug-related offense. This time, Nelson was detained in Sierra Blanca, Texas for possessing six ounces of marijuana.

The substance was discovered at a security checkpoint after U.S. Border Patrol agents smelled the substance coming from the singer’s tour bus.
