“Fallin’” isn’t just something Alicia Keys sings about. During a performance Saturday night, the 29-year-old worried a crowd in New Orleans when she stumbled backward on stage.

Although falls during concerts seem to be commonplace these days, this incident was slightly different. Alicia is currently expecting her first child with fiance Swizz Beatz.

Fortunately, Keys - who managed to keep on performing without missing a beat - and her unborn child are both reportedly fine.

Glee’s Charice Takes on Shania Twain Song

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Performances, Videos, Covers,

If you don’t regularly watch Oprah Winfrey or Ellen DeGeneres, there’s a very good chance you don’t know who Charice is. But if you’re a fan of Glee, you soon will.

Next fall, the YouTube sensation from the Philippines will join the hit FOX show in a recurring role. It’s been reported the 18-year-old will play a talented foreign exchange student who brings out the jealousy in Rachel Berry (Lea Michele).

After hearing Charice cover Shania Twain’s “Still the One,” I wouldn’t be surprised to see other Glee characters green with envy as well. I only wish Twain could have heard a performance like this one when she mentored American Idol.

VIDEO: Lady Gaga Performs Brand New Song

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Performances, Videos, Pop,

UPDATE: Lady Gaga said in a tweet that the song was “written in NY on the piano” she grew up on.

It wouldn’t be an authentic performance if the singer didn’t do something to keep the audience on their toes.

During the recent 12th Annual White Tie & Tiara Ball, Gaga chose to introduce a song no one had ever heard before. The record, titled “You and I,” was perfectly suited for an event benefitting the Elton John AIDS Foundation. (Couldn’t you just imagine those two artists playing it together at their own pianos?)

Although Gaga said she didn’t think the “rock ‘n’ roll tune” would ever be released as a single, I actually think it could do quite well. What do you think?

Christina Aguilera: Autotune is Okay with Me

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Artist News, Gossip, Videos, Pop,

I’m sure at one point, never imagined she would ever use something like Auto-Tune on her vocals - but then she scored a huge hit with 1998’s “Believe.” So should we be so shocked to hear that her Burlesque co-star, Christina Aguilera, is open to implementing the technology as well?

Although Christina clearly has no problem performing vocal gymnastics when she sings, the Grammy winner admits she’s not a total purist anymore.

In this interview with Sirius FM Satellite Radio, Aguilera - who used the tool on her new album for songs like “Elastic Love” -  says she “doesn’t get annoyed with the Auto-Tune thing, but only if it’s used in a creative way.”

So what do you think about Auto-Tune? Is there really a “creative way” to use it?
