Dee Snider-A&E is going to give you a chance to rock with Dee Snider. The Twisted Sister frontman and his family will be the focus of a new A&E reality series called Growing Up Twisted. The series begins July 27.

-Former Kinks bassist Pete Quaife passed away last Thursday at the age of 66. The group’s co-founded had been undergoing kidney dialysis for over 10 years.

-A rock band from Canada recently made its place in Hollywood. Rush’s Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson were in California on Friday to claim the 2,412th star on the Walk of Fame.

-Despite all their problems, Steven Tyler claims Aerosmith is back on track. “The band has never been better, I’m singing better,” the group’s lead singer claimed. “It’s been beautiful and I realized when I was taking care of my problems that the band is all I really care about.”

A Lewisville, Texas choir recently got a nice surprise during their trip to New Orleans. While performing ‘s “Fly Away,” the First Baptist Church members attracted a nice crowd - and an appearance from the artist himself.

Lenny, who just happened to be in the area having a drink, heard the music and simply decided he wanted to join in. Fortunately, the Voice of Praise choir singers realized who he was!

Vince Neil mug shotMusician Vince Neil is finally home sweet home after spending some time overnight in a Nevada jail.

According to police, the singer was arrested at approximately 11:15 Sunday evening for suspicion of DUI. A spokesperson for the Las Vegas Police Department said Vince’s black Lamborghini was pulled over following some sort of accident.

The 49-year-old, who lives in the Las Vegas area, was later let go on $2000 bail. He is expected to appear in court on September 29.

Although it’s not believed there were any injuries related to last night’s detainment, Vince does have a history of drunken driving. Back in 1984, passenger Hanoi Rocks drummer Nicholas “Razzle” Dingley was killed after Neil struck another vehicle head-on.

Vince, who had a BAC of .17 at the time of the crash, later served less than a month in jail and performed 200 hours of community service. He also paid $2.5 million in restitution to the victims and their families.

Simon & Garfunkel-Simon & Garfunkel’s North American tour has been indefinitely postponed. According to the group’s website, Art Garfunkel has been dealing with a “vocal paresis.”

-Kanye West will perform on the BET Awards this Sunday. It’ll be his first awards show appearance since interrupting Taylor Swift on MTV last year.

-What you don’t know about Expose singer Gioia Bruno (real name Carmen Bruna) is that she was arrested for trafficking meth last year. She’s reportedly been high on Celebrity Rehab‘s watch list.

-Rapper Fat Joe is being accused of sexual assault. A woman claims Joe (real name Joseph Cartagena) and members of his entourage assaulted her inside a limo earlier this week.

-The death of Slipknot bassist Paul Gray was the result of a drug overdose. The 38-year-old, who was found May 25, had morphine and fentanyl in his system.

Sometimes a song comes along that is so fun and catchy, you don’t mind singing it repeatedly—until you’ve you completely banned the tune from your household.

While I haven’t (yet) written off Train’s “Soul Sister,” I’m coming dangerously close. But in the meantime, I going to listen to the cover it a few times more. I mean, after all, it really feels like those girls were meant to sing that song to begin with.

If you were shocked to see Bret Michaels back up and performing on the American Idol finale, you weren’t the only one. According to the Poison frontman, his physicians were also kept out of the loop.

“The doctors, I didn’t tell them I was going to do this,” Michaels admitted to Us Weekly. “I never told them I was coming here. They’re going to find out in a few minutes!”

Concert promoter is having a very bad week.

First, Christina Aguilera announces she’ll be postponing her tour until sometime 2011. Now, U2 is delaying their gigs as well.

The official announcement comes just days after learning that Bono had emergency surgery on his back in Munich, Germany. Although it had already been announced that the band’s stop in Salt Lake City would be rescheduled, the remaining cities in the group’s North American leg will now have to wait as well.

Paul Gray MugshotPaul Gray, best-known as the bass player in hardcore band Slipknot, was found dead in his Urbandale, Iowa hotel room on Monday.

Gray, also known as #2 and The Pig, will be autopsied on Tuesday. Investigators related to the case say no foul play is suspected.

Paul was one of the three original members of the band, which has earned a total of 7 nominations. “Before I Forget” won in 2006 for Best Metal Performance.

Gray was busted for cocaine possession in 2003, resulting in a rare photograph of the performer’s face. The bassist habitually wore a mask while playing on stage.
