Record Label Warns Justin Bieber of His Behavior

Justin Bieber has been reprimanded by his record company over his recent behavior.
The "Baby" hitmaker was subjected to a 20-minute Skype chat with his label bosses following his performance at The O2 arena in London on Monday, which saw him take to the stage two hours late. And the discussion also saw the 19-year-old singer warned to curb his partying ways and "stay in more."
"Being amidst a barrage of abuse is uncharted territory for Justin. Understandably he is finding it hard to take ... His erratic behavior and antics are not what his young fans expect of him. After an emergency meeting in the US, Justin's people had him on Skype to bosses and he was given a serious talking-to. It was suggested he start staying in more and basically cleaning up his act ... Justin took the news well and has promised to go back to putting his fans first," a source told The Daily Mail.
After the talks, Justin's manager Scooter Braun advised the young pop star to stay "focused" on his Twitter account: "@justinbieber really good talk. #focused. (sic)"

Beyonce has extended the UK leg of her Mrs. Carter Show tour. The "Crazy in Love" hitmaker had been due to play eight English shows in April and May, but following popular demand when tickets went on pre-sale this morning, she has now added a further three gigs.
As well as the previously-announced dates, Beyonce will take to the stage at London's The O2 on 4 and 5 May, and the Manchester Arena on 9 May. This takes the total number of shows in London to six and Manchester to three, and she will also perform two gigs in Birmingham.
Tickets for all 11 UK concerts go on general sale on Saturday.
Beyonce announced the tour earlier this month, just hours after her performance at the Superbowl. The first show takes place in Belgrade, Serbia on April 15 and the European leg comes to an end in Stockholm, Sweden, on May 29. The star will then take a month's break before returning to the stage at Los Angeles' Staples Center on June 28.

Adele Considers Vegas Residency

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Artist News, Gossip, Rumors, Pop, R&B / Soul,
Adele is considering a residency in Las Vegas. The "Skyfall" singer may perform a number of dates in the American gambling capital rather than embark on a grueling world tour, so she can settle into family life with her baby Angelo, born last October, with partner Simon Konecki.
"Adele is top of the Vegas hit-list and she's seriously considering it as an option. She wants to get back to performing but doesn't want to go on the road so soon after becoming a mum. A Vegas residency would mean she could settle with her family and record her third album all at once," a source said.
The "Rolling in the Deep" star has reportedly been asking for tips from her friend Elton John, who celebrated performing 3,000 shows in Las Vegas in 2011 and continues to appear there regularly. "She's been asking for advice from Elton, who has spent years performing at Caesars Palace. Elton's been like a godfather to her recently, helping her settle into life as a superstar and the challenges of being a parent," the source added.

Justin Timberlake Creates “Another World” in His Songs

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Artist News, Upcoming Releases, Pop, R&B / Soul,
Justin Timberlake likes to "create another world" with his songs. The "Suit and Tie" singer immerses himself in his tracks while in the studio and aims to create different characters to tell the songs from their viewpoints.
"Music is for dreamers. You should be able to create another world that you can live in. I'm not gonna speak for Bob Dylan - he's one of my idols - but from my perspective as a fan, it seems to me that he started creating music that made him feel like another person and that's what it should do. [The studio] really is one place that you can still go to that you can be completely free. You can lock yourself in a room and make a whole other world."
The star added he feels his skills at creating characters for his songs have got better during his six year hiatus, when he has concentrated on his acting career:

Justin Timberlake’s Movie-Like Album

Justin Timberlake's movie career helped make his music more visual.
The "Suit & Tie" singer - who returned to music after a six year hiatus while he tried his hand at acting - feels his experience on film sets has taught him how to create a more vivid picture with the songs on his new album.
"You spend so much time developing a character when you do a film. So much of your work is done before you get set to shoot because you've been working on the character: the way he walks, the way he talks, what might upset him, what might make him happy. Now I can really paint a picture for people 'cause being involved in the film process, you get to see the writing change, you get to see the direction change, you get to see all those things change. You go, 'You can really do this with music, too.' You can play a character but you can also write the world that you want your character to live in and then what does that world sound like? Are there more strings in that world? Are there more horns in that world? Is there more percussion in that world?" he told Rolling Stone.

Back in June of last year, I quietly started working on what is now, my next journey with that thing I love called MUSIC. The inspiration for this really came out of the blue and to be honest, I didn't expect anything out of it. I just went into the studio and started playing around with some sounds and songs. It was probably the best time I've had in my career... Just creating with no rules and/or end goal in mind and really enjoying the process."
