Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Gossip, Videos, Pop,
Segways might provide you with a fun ride, but they will not help you make a clean escape.
This is something Justin Bieber learned the hard way Sunday evening when he tried to flee from a pack of screaming girls.
It’s unclear exactly what happened to Bieber in that sea of jean shorts, but he somehow managed to get to his concert in Glendale, AZ that night.

Michael Jackson Memorial Coming to Hall of Fame Museum

An entire garden dedicated to Michael Jackson will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at the National Museum of Dance. The permanent garden display will be completed in August.
The garden was inspired by a Michael Jackson fan group, which called the museum to inform curators that a very large floral shipment would arrive on the day Jackson is inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Using the gift as their inspiration, museum officials and a local florist have decided to create a permanent floral display in honor of the King of Pop. The fan club will pick up the tab for the project.

LISTEN: Justin Timberlake Sings Backup for Sheryl Crow
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Artist News, Collaborations, Covers, Pop, R&B / Soul,
When it came to recording “Sign Your Name” for her new album, Sheryl Crow didn’t have to look very far for a backup singer.
Crow, who happened to be working in the same studios as Justin Timberlake, said their collaboration was simply the result of a hallway conversation. “I’ve always liked him. I played (the song) for him, and when it got to the chorus he’s like, ‘Who’s doing the backgrounds?’ I said ‘We haven’t done them yet,’ and he said, ‘I got it,’” she recalled to Billboard. “It was all very organic and, man, perfect. People have no idea how talented this guy is.”
You can listen to the track after the jump.

-Cancellations and low ticket sales for various acts have impacted Live Nation’s bottom line. The concert promoter’s adjusted operating income is predicted to be down at least $40 million from last year.
-According to Amy Winehouse, her next album will be out in “six months at the most.” The singer says the sound will be “very much the same” as her last release “where there’s a lot of jukebox stuff and songs that are ... just jukebox, really.”
-Vampire Weekend is the subject of a bloody lawsuit. The woman pictured on the cover of Contra claims her picture was illegally used after someone forged a signature on the release form.

VIDEO: Pink Falls From Harness During Act

UPDATE: You can see video of Pink falling off the stage after the jump.
Even if you haven’t attended one of Pink‘s concerts, chances are you’ve already seen a clip of her performing some type of circus act…while singing at the same time.
Although she’s pulled off these stunts numerous times - like at the MTV Video Music Awards and at the Grammys - the risk for an accident is always still there. Unfortunately, that proved to be the case during her concert in Nurnberg, Germany tonight.
In the video above, you can see Pink explaining after the accident why the show has to close early.

Quote of the Day: Taylor Momsen on Comparisons to Miley Cyrus
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Gossip, Pop, Rock,
“I’m not looking to be Miley f**king Cyrus. I don’t care about the fame. I do it because I love music. I like making records and if people like them, then we’ll go along for the ride. I’m not dissing Miley personally. However, I do think the Disney bubblegum sh*t that the world is living right now is pathetic. I thought we passed that repression. I don’t know Miley, but musically we’re different. To compare us because of our age is silly. People will be surprised by the record. I mean, it’s a rock record. I get that there is this blonde thing from Gossip Girl and they’re expecting pop sh*t, but it’s a rock band and its heavy. Our record is a life record. It confronts everything head on. It’s death, love, drugs, sex, religion, politics.”
-Gossip Girl‘s Taylor Momsen explaining to FHM UK how her musical career differs from Miley’s.

An estimated 20,000 people - a record-sized crowd for the Today show - watched Lady Gaga sing live from New York’s Rockefeller Center morning.
Although the patient “Little Monsters” - some waiting as long as 33 hours - had to endure some rain, Gaga’s performance made their efforts worthwhile. The 24-year-old’s set included a mashup of “Someone to Watch Over Me/Bad Romance,” “You and I” (a new tune she recently performed for Elton John), “Alejandro” and “Teeth.”
You can watch all four numbers after the jump.
