First Look: Beyonce and Lady Gaga Star in Video Phone
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Collaborations, Music Videos, Pop, R&B / Soul,
It should go without saying that any music video involving Lady Gaga will probably be…unusual. But who expected this from Beyoncé?
The minute you see the Reservoir Dogs-style open, you know “Video Phone” will be a wild ride. (It is directed by Hype Williams after all.) Men with cameras as heads? Sasha Fierce armed with futuristic outfits, a Bettie page haircut…and guns? Gaga looking…normal?
I can only imagine what other projects these two ladies have collaborated on. Well, actually - I probably can’t.

Check out the Lady Gaga Bad Romance music video
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Music Videos, Videos, Dance, Pop,
I wasn’t sure I’d ever see a weirder music video than Lady Gaga‘s Paparazzi, but never one to rest on her laurels, the artist has topped herself with the video for her new track Bad Romance. The imagery alone is WTF-worthy, but when it’s all said and done, you’ll be a better person for having experienced it.
We’ll be taking a look at all the gadgetry hidden in Bad Romance, including an oddly placed Wii Nunchuk, over on Gear Live.
EDIT: Okay, be sure to check out the 10 gadget sightings in Bad Romance over on Gear Live!

A Pussycat Dolls-esque dance line? Plunging necklines and thongs? A song about threesomes? What more could anyone want from Britney Spears?
Considering the subject matter, this video for “3” is actually surprisingly tame. Given her performance in “Womanizer,” I’m shocked she kept her clothes on this time around.

Adam Lambert Faces 2012 in New Music Video
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Artist News, Music Videos, Release Dates, Upcoming Releases, Pop, Soundtracks,
Adam Lambert may have lost out to Kris Allen, but he’ll somehow find the way to survive 2012.
In “Time for Miracles,” a song from the upcoming disaster movie, the American Idol finalist reminds us that there’s never a wrong time to sing a power ballad. In fact, you should let one out before the rest of the world comes crashing down on you.
The film’s soundtrack is just one of two CDs Adam’s name will be attached to next month. For Your Entertainment, a solo album that will include a track written by Lady Gaga, will debut on November 23.

John Mayer Album Cover and Video Revealed
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Music Videos, Upcoming Releases, Rock,
Note to Jennifer Anistion: If you really plan on reuniting with John Mayer, don’t ever tell him he can’t get stoned.
In “Who Says,” the first track from his upcoming album, the 32-year-old sings about his right to partake in a little drug and booty call action. “Who says I can’t get stoned?/ Call up a girl that I used to know/ Fake love for an hour or so/ Who says I can’t get stoned?” Well - it was just your birthday, John, so I guess you should be able to do what you want.
Battle Studies, Mayer’s fourth solo album, will come out on November 17.

Even if you’re not a follower of the WWE, chances are you’re familiar with Captain Lou Albano. The 76-year-old with the unforgettable rubber-banded beard passed away at his home Wednesday morning.
The former wrestler and 1996 WWE Hall of Famer was a fixture in a number of classic Cyndi Lauper music videos. In addition to “The Goonies ‘R’ Good Enough” (shown above), Lou was also featured in “Time After Time,” “She Bop” and “Girls Just Want to Have Fun.”
Although he has been receiving hospice care, no cause of death has yet been released for Albano.

VIDEO: Taylor Swift Looks Back at Being Fifteen
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Music Videos, Country,
The only person who can clearly remember what it was like to be 15, is someone who’s only 19.
In “Fifteen,” the fourth song from Taylor Swift‘s album Fearless, the country star sings about her friend Abigail (who appears in this video) and a painful breakup she experienced a few years ago.
“‘Cause when you’re fifteen and somebody tells you they love you/ You’re gonna believe them/ When you’re fifteen and your first kiss/ Makes your head spin ‘round/ But in your life you’ll do things greater than/ Dating the boy on the football team/ But I didn’t know it at fifteen.”
Honey—just wait until you’re eighteen and a Jonas Brother dumps you for Camilla Belle. Fifteen will seem like nothing.
