Blur at Coachella 2013Blur are starting work on a new album.

The "Parklife" band will work on their first record since 2003's Think Tank - which didn't include guitarist Graham Coxon - after having to pull out of some dates in their current tour.

Speaking during a concert at Hong Kong's AsiaWorld-Expo on Sunday singer Damon Albarn said, "We were supposed to play in Taiwan and Japan next week, but due to unforeseen circumstances we weren't able to go there. So we have a week in Hong Kong, so we thought it would be a good time to try and record another record."

After touring Think Tank, Blur - which also includes bass player Alex James and drummer Dave Rowntree - went on hiatus so its members could pursue other projects. They reunited in 2008 and started playing live in 2009. The band then released two tracks, "The Puritan" and "Under the Westway," last year.

ParamoreParamore cancelled a gig on Monday to give Hayley Williams time to recover from a virus.

The "Now" rockers - Hayley, Jeremy Davis and Taylor York- called off their performance in Salt Lake City, Utah, to allow the frontwoman to regain good health after being struck with a sore throat last Tuesday and then food poisoning.

Hayley took to her Tumblr to offer her sincere apologies to the groups' fans and give her account of the vicious virus. "This started last week when we were meant to play [talk show] Conan. And I woke up feeling really sick. I thought it was just a sore throat but didn't want to risk not being well for our own shows, so we cancelled. I stayed in and got some food and, of course, caught food poisoning from it... Because, why not? Not to get all graphic on you but it was a lot like that scene in The Exorcist where she projectile pukes green and it's really violent. That ended up burning my throat which made it sore all over again. Then to make matters worse I woke up a couple of days later having gotten some sort of virus, which is what I'm still dealing with now. Clearly, it has not been my week," she wrote.

BeyonceApparently, it is possible to capture unflattering photos of Beyonce.

The singer has banned all press photographers - save for her approved personal photographer Frank Micelotta - from taking any photos of her while performing on her latest tour, The Mrs. Carter Show.

The much buzzed-about action comes after unflattering photos of the 31 year-old surfaced online from her performance at this year's Super Bowl (right) - something she has vowed to prevent from occurring in the future with the new photographer ban.

Though she can stop press photographers, who's to say there won't be an audience member snapping up bad photos of her with an iPhone? In a world where photos can be taken and uploaded to the internet in moments, it's quite unrealistic to believe in preventing any unfavorable pictures. Perhaps the best route she can take is to learn how to control her extreme grimacing while performing.

The North American leg of The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour arrives at the end of June.

RihannaRihanna has set a new chart record in the US. The singer's latest single "Stay" - featuring Mikky Ekko - has become her tenth number one on Billboard Mainstream Top 40 Radio Airplay Chart.

By having ten number one's Rihanna topples Katy Perry's record run of nine number one tracks on the same chart. The "Umbrella" singer also holds further records in the same chart, including most entries on the chart for an artist, with 35 songs.

While Rihanna's chart performances are holding up, she is having a hard time of her current Diamonds World Tour, and has had to cancel four shows in the US leg due to a recurring bout of laryngitis. After cancelling two shows in Texas earlier this month, she apologized to fans, writing on Instagram, "I kept working because I thought two days off after the Vegas show would be enough time to recover and I f****ed up, those were two days off from hell and today is not different! I'm sad and disappointed about it!"

Tonight Rihanna will perform in Baltimore, Maryland, the first of the previously cancelled shows she has rescheduled.

Beyonce- Although online music service Spotify won't divulge approximate numbers, the company claims that Daft Punk has set the new record with their song "Get Lucky" for the biggest streaming day for a single track - a title previously held by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Thrift Shop."

- Perhaps weirdly influenced by her new role as a mother, Beyonce shocked Serbian concert-goers by somewhat-flashing them with a glittery leotard complete with bare faux-boobs.

- Those attending the Americanarama Festival of Music ought to be extra-ecstatic for the concert this summer, as Bob Dylan just signed on to perform on the tour alongside My Morning Jacket and Wilco.

- Amy Winehouse's father Mitch has spoken out about Beyonce's initially unauthorized cover of "Back to Black," which is featured in the upcoming film The Great Gatsby.

Fleetwood MacFleetwood Mac will release a new EP later this week. The band will be putting out their first new material since their Say You Will album from 2003, including new track "Sad Angel."

The band - Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks - debuted both that song and another, "Without You," last Thursday at the opening of their 2013 tour in Ohio, US. Lindsey announced news of the new release to the crowd at another show in Philadelphia. "One of the things we thought would be a good idea before we hit the road would be to go into the studio and cut some new material. So last year we did that. It's the best stuff we've done in a long time and in a few days we're going to drop an EP of new stuff," he said.

Ex-band member, Christine McVie - who left the band and retired from music in 1998 - has also said she would like to perform with the band at one of their London dates if they will allow her: "If they wanted me to, I might pop back on stage when they're in London just to do a little duet or something like that."

Jon Bon Jovi and Richie SamboraRichie Sambora didn't quit Bon Jovi's Because We Can tour over money.

Singer Jon Bon Jovi insists the guitarist - who suddenly left the band ahead of a show in Calgary, Canada on April 2 - hasn't fallen out with him over finances, as suggested by some sources. "I think Richie's doing all right, I haven't spoken to him. We were surprised. It was 3:30pm on show day on Tuesday and we got a phone call that he wouldn't be there. It's a personal matter. Don't believe what you read on [website] TMZ because it's the furthest thing from the truth," a source said.

Richie - who has been replaced by Phil X for the remainder of the US leg of the tour - missed some of Bon Jovi's tour dates in 2011 after he checked into rehab for alcohol issues, but sources insist he is currently still sober.

Jon also discussed the band's What About Now album, saying his main inspiration was rock 'n' roll legends The Rolling Stones: "It's a wide array. I just downloaded [David] Bowie's record to listen to that. I just bought a Bruno Mars record before that. Influences? [Tom] Waits. [Leonard] Cohen. They're huge lyrical influences. For rock bands, I look to the Stones, who at least show me where the bar is so you know how far and how high I gotta jump."

MorrisseyMorrissey doesn't know if he will perform live again.

The "Everyday Is Like Sunday" singer is currently hospitalized suffering from double pneumonia, a bleeding ulcer and gastrointestinal condition Barrett's esophagus. He has had to cancel all of his booked live dates, and isn't sure when he will take to the stage again.

"It takes a lifetime to find the right words, and at the moment, I haven't got them. I've been a colossal pain where this continuously unpredictable illness is concerned, and now the physical limits have been reached. The tour had, in fact, been fantastic for all of us - a new slice of life full of concentrated power. The audiences everywhere have given so much, although I know that neither of us will ever receive our due. I hope this isn't the end, and I hope there will be other chances, minus the heavy burden of illness. Knots of grief today, but full of resolve for tomorrow."

Over the weekend, the 53-year-old former Smiths frontman's publicist confirmed he had had to cancel the rest of his concerts in America due to ill health and they will not be rescheduled.

Elton JohnElton John pulled out of his Alabama concert for "medical reasons." The 65-year-old singer was due to play a gig at the Birmingham Jefferson Complex Arena in Alabama on Friday, but has been forced to cancel on medical advice, according to E! News.

A statement posted on Ticketmaster.com, just hours before the concert was due to begin, said, "This event has been cancelled. Refunds at Point of Purchase only. Internet & Phone orders will automatically be cancelled & refunded."

It was recently revealed Elton requested an extra hotel room just for his glasses during a recent visit to Brazil. The "Candle In The Wind" singer requested the additional quarters to house his spectacles at the Ouro Minas five-star hotel in Belo Horizonte ahead of a gig earlier this month, and he asked promoters of the show to ensure the temperature of the extra room was maintained at 60.8 degrees Fahrenheit. He also made a number of beverage requests including four bottles of cranberry juice, a pint of fresh skimmed milk and two bottles of good quality Pinot Grigio wine, as well as eight small bottles of French Evian water, and five large bottles or 12 small bottles of San Pellegrino sparkling water.

RihannaRihanna resumed her Diamonds world tour last night. The "Stay" singer was back on stage in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, after being forced to cancel two shows due to laryngitis, and appeared in good spirits ahead of the show.

"One of my favorite cities in America #PHILLYnation #DiamondsWorldTour WE BACK!!!!! (sic)," she wrote on Twitter.

Rihanna had to cancel dates in Boston and Baltimore after falling ill immediately after the first show of the tour in New York state and tweeted she was "embarrassed" about it: "BOSTON this is the hardest thing for me to deal with! I feel like we've been waiting on this day forever, and I'm hurt that I let you down. I hate disappointing people that never ever let me down!! I'm so embarrassed about this! Thank you for your prayers and well wishes!(sic)."

The singer will reschedule both of the missed dates and intends to give fans a special show when they do happen.
