The Black Eyed Peas are about to undertake their first arena tour but band member Taboo said that the group will not be spending excessive time practicing.

“The thing is about our group is we never rehearse. That’s always been our thing. I know it sounds weird and it sounds funny for such a big tour,” he revealed. “I know we have a couple of rehearsals in Vegas, so, hopefully we’ll be able to knock it out in a month.”

Despite their lack of prep time, Taboo is promising fans something special. “There’s a lot of things that we’re putting into this tour that we’re not used to. We’re glad to be stepping up into the world of a big arena tour,” he added.

Discussing the band’s huge success, Taboo said that they had all “come such a long way.” He told LiveDaily.com: “The dreams keep on becoming realities for us. We’re grateful to have our fifth album be our biggest album to date.”

UPDATE: Cuomo has just been released from the hospital

One day after a terrifying crash in New York, Weezer’s was reported to be “sitting up” and “talking clearly” in his hospital room.

The group’s lead singer and his assistant, Sarah Kim, were both injured in a Saturday morning incident that sent his tour bus down a muddy ravine about 40 miles west of Albany. The bus -  also occupied by Rivers’ wife, daughter and nanny - hit a patch of ice before going through a guardrail and traveling an additional 8-10 feet down a slope.

will earn $500,000 just for perfoming on New Year’s Eve.

The “Umbrella” singer has been asked to sing at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi to help revelers ring in 2010 in what will be her first performance in the Middle East. Rihanna had been due to perform in Dubai earlier this year, which would have been her first show since she was attacked by ex-boyfriend in February.

“She was supposed to perform back in May but she canceled in the aftermath of the assault. This is a make-up date,” a source told the New York Post.

U2 are scheduled to headline the Glastonbury Festival next year.

The music event’s organizer Michael Eavis has signed up the Irish rockers - Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. - to perform for the first time at the world famous festival which celebrates its 40th anniversary next year.

“Everyone is over the moon that the deal has been done. Michael really wanted a huge name for the 40th anniversary and the fact U2 have never played Glastonbury in their 32-year career only adds to the mystique,” a source said.

The “Get On Your Boots” hitmakers - who will headline the festival on Friday June 25, in Somerset, England - have been in discussions with Michael, 74, for some time.

A tour bus carrying lighting crew members of ’ tour overturned this morning, killing the driver.

The bus - one of four traveling near Richmond, Virginia - for some reason went off the side of I-85 before hitting an embankment and falling on its side. The victim, who was pronounced dead on the scene, has not yet been identified. Of the 14 passengers on-board (including the driver), 9 others reportedly sustained relatively minor injuries.

The circumstances of the 8:15 a.m. accident are still being investigated. It’s not known whether rain may have played a role.

The 16-year-old singer, who is set for a Sunday concert in Greenboro, N.C., was not traveling with any part of that caravan. At this time, she is still scheduled to perform this weekend.
