Kelly RowlandKelly Rowland can never be without her Bible when she is on tour.

The "Down For Whatever" hitmaker doesn't have many backstage demands when she performs around the world, but she is always sure to have the religious text with her wherever she is.

"The only thing I asked for is Fiji Water. When I'm on tour the only thing I can't be without is my Bible."

The 30-year-old singer likes to keep fit both on tour and when she is at home in Los Angeles, and most of the time she manages to refrain from consuming calorific treats despite having the odd "cheat day."

"I like to feel good about myself and know what I'm putting in my body. It's not about putting on pound, it's about being healthy. Food isn't meant to make you feel lethargic, it's about nutrition, but you do have your cheat days. I love sugar and I love fried food but I try and leave it alone most of the time. I also love a nice glass of red wine."

Lady GagaLady Gaga is planning to release a new album this year. The "Born This Way" hitmaker is hoping to keep her cycle of touring and recording going and is planning to follow up last year's Born This Way with another album in 2012.

"I just want to keep going. I'm not as goal obsessed as I am process obsessed. I just want to keep writing music. I'm looking forward to putting out another album and going on tour. I feel very blessed to be an artist who gets to make a living doing from what I love."

Gaga also told how she sees each of her records as like her own children. When asked if she wanted to become a mother, she replied, " Someday - long, long day from now. My next baby will be my new record."

Gaga released Born This Way in May last year and staged The Monster Ball Tour between November 2009 and May 2011, and since that wrapped is thought to have been working on new material.

RihannaRihanna completed her Loud Tour at London's The O2 venue last night. The "You Da One" singer finished her huge 98 date tour in the English capital, and thanked fans for all their support over the last year.

Before her encore of "Take A Bow," "Umbrella" and "We Found Love," she told the crowd, "I cannot believe this is the last show. It really sucks. I'm going to miss you all so f***ing much. This tour has been one of the best experiences of my life, I've grown so attached to you all - more than I ever thought I could be."

The Loud Tour ran from June to December and included dates in North and South America and Europe, including 11 nights in total in London, with the final three filmed for a live DVD. However, the tour was not without upset as the 23-year-old star had to cancel two dates in Sweden in November due to exhaustion.

The crowd last night included fellow pop singer Cheryl Cole, who was hugely impressed with Rihanna's singing. She tweeted afterwards, "Just left last #Loud concert. Amazing!! To put on 98 of the same shows like that and give your all takes something special. (sic)"

AdeleAdele has reportedly started "basic vocal training" in preparation for her comeback.

The "Someone Like You" singer underwent surgery on her vocal cords for a benign polyp earlier this year, forcing her to cancel a string of concerts in America and England, but she is now on the road to recovery and expected to start singing live again in 2012.

"She has time off in her schedule for much of the first quarter of 2012. Depending on how her voice builds back up, she might go to this medical vocal academy in Seoul. It sounds extreme, but she wouldn't be the first artist to go there after removing polyps," a source said.

As part of her continuing recovery, the singer will have a quiet Christmas at home with her mother, and is cutting back on alcohol and partying. "She's not going out raving or drinking. It's going to be really quiet," the source added.

ColdplayColdplay joked it was "like playing for their family" at an intimate gig in London last night. The "Paradise" band played at the 500-capacity Camden Dingwalls venue for the first time since 1998, when they had just released their debut Safety EP.

During the set lead singer Chris Martin told the crowd, "This is like playing for our family. It's so f***ing small. I've got more cousins than this! We're used to lasers and posh stuff, and now we've got nothing but our instruments and our handsome bass player."

As the band - completed by Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion - took to the stage, opening their set with new song "Hurts Like Heaven" from their Mylo Xyloto album, things got off to a shaky stage, as the band made a couple of mistakes. "This is worse than 14 years ago. We f***ed that up as well. Come on, we're a professional band for f**k's sake," Chris joked.

The show saw the band perform against a graffiti inspired backdrop and was attended by lucky fans picked from 60,000 who had applied for the free tickets.

Trent ReznorTrent Reznor is planning to spend next year writing material for Nine Inch Nails. The musician retired the band from live performance in 2009 so he could concentrate on other projects, but has said he plans to spend 2012 writing material with the project "in mind."

When asked if he plans to work on Nine Inch Nails soon, Trent told BBC Radio 1, "For sure. I plan on spending a good portion of this year coming up writing with that in mind. Let's see what happens."

Since putting the project - of which he is the sole permanent member - on hold, Trent has started a new band, How to Destroy Angels, and worked on the Oscar winning soundtrack to The Social Network with Atticus Ross. Trent and Atticus have also teamed for another soundtrack, to the US remake of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, which he said was the sort of film he was more comfortable working on.

"I started thinking, 'Finally! Now there's serial killers, tension, anal rapings and stuff like that!" he joked. "But there was an experimentation with familiar - almost orchestral-sounding things but treated in an unusual way. This isn't a soundtrack that's filled with Star Wars-esque theme songs."

My Chemical RomanceMy Chemical Romance are writing new songs "every day." The "Sing" group expect there to be a much shorter period between albums than the four year gap between third album The Black Parade and last year's Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, as they are planning to return to the studio later this year.

"We're writing music every day at the moment, which was something that wasn't happening on Black Parade. The thing is that the band was in a really unhealthy place when Black Parade ended and now the band is in such a healthy place that there's no more 'I want to run away' or 'It's about me.' Now it's like this is what I do and I want to do this for the rest of my life. Everybody's so happy," frontman Gerard Way said.

Present-day Krist NovoselicNirvana bassist Krist Novoselic will perform the band's classic Nevermind album in full. The 46-year-old rocker will join forces with the likes of Seattle bands Campfire OK, the Long Winters, Visqueen, the Fastbacks, and Vaporland for a tribute show which will pay homage to the 20th anniversary of the legendary 1991 album.

According to radio station 107.7 The End, Krist will perform the record in full on September 20 at the Sky Church at Seattle's Experience Music Project. Former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl - who now fronts the Foo Fighters - recently admitted he thinks that Krist is the "soul" of their previous group, and hanging out with him stirs up strong memories.

"He hasn't changed a bit, so to hear him speak or to hear him tell stories or to hear him talk about Nirvana - it really brings back the feeling of being in the band because it's just part of his soul," he said.

Dave also explained the dynamic of the grunge band - which disbanded after the suicide of singer Kurt Cobain in 1994 - was created by the fine balance in drive and personality between Kurt and Krist:

Green Day have unveiled a tribute to late singer Amy Winehouse. The American Idiot rockers debuted the new track - which makes references to the "Rehab" hitmaker's troubled life up to her unexpected death on July 23 - at a secret show at the Tiki Bar in Costa Mesa, California, on Thursday.

According to lyrics posted on the band's official website, the opening lines are, "Amy, is your heart singing out of tune/ Are your eyes just singing the blues/ Dirty records from another time/ Some blood stains on your shoes."

The final part of the track laments Amy's premature death at the age of 27, as well as the drug and alcohol addictions which had plagued the star throughout since 2006: "You're too young for the golden age/ 'Cause the record bin's been replaced/ 27 gone without a trace/ And you walked away from your drink."

Green Day are the latest artists to pay tribute to Amy Winehouse, after U2, M.I.A., Coldplay and Dionne Bromfield have all dedicated tracks or dedicated parts of their live shows to the star.

AdeleAdele has become "obsessed" with Beyonce while recovering from laryngitis.

The "Rolling in the Deep" singer had to cancel the second half of her US tour earlier this month because of the affliction to her vocal chords, and has been catching up with some music and TV she missed while resting at home in the UK.

"I'm at home now, watching box sets and sorting things out into neat piles and resting. i haven't been able to cook for almost 3 months cause Ive been on the road so I'm getting back into that (sic). Ive become obsessed with beyonce's I Am Sasha Fierce tour dvd and 30 rock, and Ive also started uploading over 1000 cds to my itunes! long but satisfying! i cant wait to be able to sing again, I'm bored stiff (sic)," she wrote on her site.

The vocalist also apologized for having to cancel her shows and promised her team are working on rescheduling them for as soon as possible. She also assured she is starting to feel better:
