Thom Yorke and Flea on stage

Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea was influenced by touring with Radiohead singer Thom Yorke. The bassist played with the British singer in supergroup Atoms for Peace - which also included punk singer Patti Smith and Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn - and said it really helped broaden his musical horizon.

"It influenced me being around Thom. He's an unbelievably great musician and a beautiful man. He's so pure as an artist. It's less that I would try to copy him and more that just being around someone who channels really powerful energy is beneficial. It's a relationship I will always hope to nurture."

Jessie J and Justin Timberlake

Singer-and-actor Justin Timberlake spends 14 hours at a time in the recording studio. The 30 year-old penned some tracks with British star Jessie J, and the "Do It Like a Dude" hitmaker was astonished by his work ethic.

"When he's in the studio, he is in the studio. We would literally spend 14 hours in there and not leave. I would be like, 'Where is the toilet please? I'm going to wet myself."

Linkin ParkLinkin Park have started on the follow up to A Thousand Suns with Rick Rubin. The "Shadow of the Day" group have "been in the studio writing" with the legendary producer, coming up with new ideas and revisiting material they started during sessions for their last album in 2010.

"Typically we'll have a once a week meeting to go listen to the songs that they're coming up with and talk about them. For so early in the project, they are much further along than they have been on the last two albums we did. On A Thousand Suns there were still a lot of irons in the fire. We knew, 'OK, we can't do this forever. Let's leave this batch and we'll come back and address it when we start up again," Rick said.

Linkin Park recently headlined Download festival in the UK, although their set did not feature any new material.

Ne-YoNe-Yo has been "talking" to Beyonce about doing a duet. The "So Sick" hitmaker - who is currently working on his fifth album Love and Passion, which will be released in September - has a number of collaborations in the works but has no confirmed singles coming out with big-named stars.

"There's a couple of people who I might be collaborating with on the next album, I don't know exactly who right now, but I've talked to a couple of people, Chris Brown and Dr. Dre, Beyonce about some stuff. But nothing is set in stone right now."

In addition, the 31-year-old singer - who penned Beyonce's hit single "Irreplaceable" - also has a soft spot for UK artists, including troubled singer Amy Winehouse.

"What do I like most about the UK? The weather! No, no, I like the vibe out here. It's a really cool vibe. I really like Plan B or Amy Winehouse and Adele."

"We are excited to perform it for our fans on The Voice this Tuesday and on the road this summer. The guys and I recorded this track in Los Angeles last month and it was great getting to work with Christina on it as well."
