Idris ElbaIdris Elba will make a special DJ appearance at London's Sway nightclub on Friday.

The actor-and-DJ will provide the soundtrack to a night of partying at the Covent Garden hotspot, marking his first DJ set since the whirlwind success of his latest acting role as Nelson Mandela in Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, for which he recently earned a Golden Globe nomination

The 41-year-old star will DJ under his musical moniker 7 Wallace and will also be joined by US female rapper Eve - whose hit singles include "Tambourine" and "Rich Girl" with Gwen Stefani - and former EastEnders actor Chucky Venn, who plays Ray Dixon in the BBC One soap.

Idris recently revealed that his next album will be dedicated to former South African leader Nelson Mandela, who died at the age of 95 earlier this month: "The album will be called Mi Mandela. I went back to South Africa and worked with some great musicians. I'm really proud of the album. I'll wait until the film has died down so it doesn't get muddled but I'll release it in the New Year. Basically, it's a love letter from me to Mandela about me playing him."

Dolly PartonDolly Parton is reportedly set to headline Glastonbury 2014.

The country music icon has been secretly booked to fill the Glastonbury Legends slot on the Sunday of the UK festival, according to The Sun newspaper. "Dolly is perfect for the Sunday Legends slot. It didn't take any convincing - she's always wanted to play Glastonbury," a source told the publication.

The "9 to 5" hitmaker is expected to perform a setlist comprising her greatest hits from her lengthy career when she takes to the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm in Somerset, South West England, next June.

Dolly is supposedly jetting in from London after performing at the O2 arena on the Saturday evening as part of her Blue Smoke tour, and conveniently has a "day off" on the Sunday, according to her schedule. "It is being kept free deliberately. She'll get a helicopter straight down on Sunday, or maybe even Saturday night after the show," the festival insider added.

Cliff RichardCliff Richard doesn't think young artists are getting enough support in the music industry.

The 73-year-old singer believes pop stars coming onto the market in their teens and early twenties should be given more help to maintain their success, instead of being dropped by record companies when they fail to achieve a number one: "I don't think the new groups and young singers have the same support system. Today you can have a number one, [but] if your next record's not number one sometimes they won't re-sign. It's because they don't have the same faith in the artists that my producer and manager, Norrie Paramour and Peter Gormley, had."

However, the "Living Doll" hitmaker, who has recently released his 100th album, has praised the emerging new talent and believes even people who don't achieve success from shows such as The X Factor are still going on to achieve global success. "When you think about it, even the losers on The X Factor are good. I mean, they're really good singers these days. When you think of One Direction, five of them, they all lost. None of them won The X Factor and they're the biggest boyband in the world at the moment," he explained.

Ozzy OsbourneOzzy Osbourne saw a dog at one of his concerts wearing a sign that read, "Please don't eat me!"

The legendary hellraiser, who famously bit the head off a bat on stage in 1982, said there have been many surreal moments during this year's Black Sabbath reunion tour. "At one of this year's gigs, somebody let a dog go with a sign on its leg saying, 'Please don't eat me!'" he told The Sun.

Ozzy spoke about winding up his band mates, including bassist and chief Sabbath lyricist Geezer Butler. "Geezer is a vegetarian. When he walked off the stage, I said, 'Does your wife eat meat?' And he replies, 'Yeah.' So I said, 'What, do you have a funeral every time she has a bacon sandwich?'" he explained.

Ozzy, who has been sober for nearly a year after relapsing into drink and drugs, said he's nearly injured himself on stage every night and is shocked by the band's massive success after releasing their monumental album 13 and being nominated for three Grammy Awards: "Every night, I've slipped on the stage. I nearly fell in the f***ing orchestra pit. I mean it's tough on the other guys. When they're all getting serious, I make them laugh and they all get p***ed off. Nothing's rehearsed with me. One day, I'll just put a bucked on my head. 'Just when you think things might be winding up, it gets bigger than ever. Honestly I'm in shock. I keep thinking I'm the luckiest guy in the world. It's been a dream."

Selena GomezAustralian fans will be disappointed to hear that Selena Gomez has put the brakes on her tour to Down Under next year.

The 21 year-old singer/actress has been touring the States and Europe this year and has decided to take a break to recuperate from her gruelling work schedule. "My fans are so important to me and I would never want to disappoint them. But it has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be," the former Disney star said in a statement.

Gomez's rep confirmed the news, and a source close to the singer assured fans that she's not heading for a breakdown anytime soon: "Selena is fine, she's in a great space. She's looking forward to spending the holidays with her family."

With having finished 55 concerts in six months, the insider added that "she's just ready to be normal and at home with her family. She's been working nonstop since she was 15 and wants to take a minute to herself."

Jamie Hince and Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan is making music with Kate Moss' husband.

The troubled actress is determined to get her life back on track following her stint in rehab in the summer, and has teamed up with Jamie Hince to work on a mystery project. The 27-year-old star posted a number of teasing photographs on her Instagram account, which saw her sitting at a mixing desk in a New York studio, as well as a signed copy of The Kills record, along with the hash tags "Jamie Hince" and "Studio time."

The blonde beauty, who released two albums when she was a Disney star, is keen to revive her music career and has been seeking advice from Jamie and Lily Allen's ex-boyfriend Robertson Furze in a bid to turn into a "rock chick." "Lindsay's really embarrassed by [her previous] music, it was really poppy and cheesy. She sees herself as far more credible now. Jamie is one of her idols - she loves The Kills and sees herself as a bit of a rock chick," a source said.

Ozzy OsbourneOzzy Osbourne insists he has no plans to retire.

The Black Sabbath musician, who has now been sober for nearly a year after relapsing into drink and drugs, says he still gets a thrill out of being on stage after the band reformed in 2011. The 65-year-old told NME magazine that he's living "on borrowed time" and started getting asked about quitting music when he turned 60. "The word 'retirement' started coming into the interviews, but as long as I have an audience, as long as I can physically do it and enjoy doing it and they want to see me, what's the point in quitting?" he said.

Black Sabbath have been nominated for three Grammy Awards after their album 13, their first in 18 years, topped the charts in 30 countries, giving them their first ever US number one. Ozzy says it's his "dream" to get the band's original drummer Bill Ward on board for another Sabbath album but hasn't spoken to him because "It wouldn't be fair. 'Hi, how are you, Ozzy?' 'I'm alright Bill, I'm just about to go onstage to 75,000 people in Sao Paolo. Wish you were here!' When it's all over, I'll probably give him a call. I love and respect the guy very much, but we just couldn't hang around any more. [His absence] is obviously something to do with dollars, but my wife [Sharon] does the deals, do I don't know."

Pharrell Williams is set to release his first solo album in eight years.

The "Get Lucky" star has signed to Columbia Records for the release, which will follow his 2006 LP In My Mind. According to The Guardian, the album will feature his track "Happy," which he recently recorded for the world's first 24 hour-long music video. It featured the 40-year-old rapper and producer along with cameos from Odd Future, Magic Johnson, Steve Carrell and Jimmy Kimmel - dancing through the streets of Los Angeles.

Pharrell has had a successful year in music, after collaborating with Robin Thicke for the hit "Blurred Lines" and working with Daft Punk on their comeback single "Get Lucky." Speaking to GQ after being named Hitmaker of the Year by the magazine, he said his success of the songs, which both went to number one, was down to people wanting to escape from all the bad things in the world. "Both songs are for people who need a break. There's a lot of fucked-up travesty in the world. Sometimes you just need a Hallmark card. Sometimes you just need to shake your a**," he said.

John Mayer and Katy PerryKaty Perry joined John Mayer on stage for a surprise appearance in Brooklyn.

The "Roar" hitmaker and her boyfriend sang their duet "Who You Love" from John's latest album Paradise Valley. They performed together on Tuesday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and even managed to sneak in a few kisses at the beginning of the song.

Hours before John, 36, and Katy, 29, sat down on Good Morning America for their first joint interview and premiered the music video for "Who You Love," which saw the couple kiss and embrace. John was initially hesitant to feature Katy on the track, saying, "My first thought was, 'You can't do that' and then the more I thought about just the music part of it, it made perfect sense. Even if I didn't know Katy, it would have made perfect sense.... For me it always had to be about the song ... It's a pretty big moving target to be a couple and have a song but I think there's an authenticity to it when you hear it."

Katy said about her duet with John, "It transcends us. It's more about the message of the song."

Ian WatkinsIan Watkins has been sentenced to 35 years for child sex offenses.

The former Lostprophets singer appeared before Cardiff Crown Court today after pleading guilty to attempting to rape a fan's 11-month-old son and 10 other offenses. Watkins, along with his two co-defendants "Woman A" and "Woman B," stood emotionless in the dock as their sentences were handed down.

The mothers of the abused children also pleaded guilty to child abuse charges at a hearing in November along with the musician. The judge, Justice Royce, told the courtroom evidence in the case "breaks new ground" and "plunged into new depths of depravity," while Watkins was "noticeably shaking" as he stood. The court was told Watkins poses a "significant risk" to young women and children and was informed he had told a probation officer he did not know what lengths he would have gone to with children had he not been arrested.
