Leona Lewis at the Olympics

is thrilled about being transformed into a $250,000 life-size figurine, which it will be unveiled at London’s world famous Madame Tussauds museum next month.

“It is such an honor to be asked by Madame Tussauds to join the other waxwork music stars. It has been a lifelong dream since I visited the attraction as a child to be immortalized in wax. I now can’t wait to meet my wax double!” the pop star said.

The model of the “Bleeding Love” singer will be dressed in the gown Leona wore at last year’s Beijing Olympics closing ceremony, which was designed by students at the London College of Fashion. Leona, 24, sat for the waxwork specialists earlier this year when they took 300 measurements and a series of reference photographs.

In July, a new waxwork was unveiled in the wake of his death. It is the 13th model of the pop legend that has appeared at the museum.
