VIDEO: Why Pink Feared She Would Fall at Grammys
As breathtaking as Pink‘s “Glitter in the Air” performance was at last night’s Grammys, the number could have easily been more memorable.
Although the trapeze-esque act was something she had performed numerous times during her Funhouse tour, the awards show version incorporated a new element: lights.

“When I do it [on tour], I don’t have lights above me,” she said of the spectacle. “Tonight, there were lights above me, so it almost went into a strobe thing, and I actually did get a little turned around.”
And while any reasonable person would have been made dizzy by the spins that closed the number (with or without the lights), Pink - who was wearing high heels at the time - managed to stay on her feet. “I thought … I was going to fall on my nude butt,” she admitted. “But I worked it out.”
