Rihanna and Chris Brown Recording Together?
UPDATE: Contrary to previous reports, the label says “Chris Brown and Rihanna did not record a duet after the incident.”
An unnamed source says that singers Chris Brown and Rihanna, who have recently gained a ton of public attention for their personal problems, are currently recording a duet together.
Chris Brown is facing felony charges for allegedly assaulting Rihanna, 21, in a domestic dispute. The singer has since released a statement to his fans. “Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired,” Brown stated. “I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones, and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person.”

Legal counsel for Rihanna specifically requested that Brown be allowed to see the singer even during the ongoing court case, and the media has reported that the pair is reunited as a couple. Reps for each have neither confirmed nor denied these reports. Brown will return to court on April 6, which could result in possible prison time for the R&B star.
Brown has withdrawn his nomination for two of Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards, where he was in the running for Favorite Song and Favorite Male Singer. “While Chris would like to speak to his fans directly about this and other issues, pending legal proceedings preclude his doing so at this time. Once the matter before him has been resolved, he intends to do so,” said a spokesman for Brown.
So, is the rumor true? Are Brown and Rihanna really in a studio together? One source says so - but is it just idle gossip?
