VIDEO: Pink Talks About Demanding Funhouse Tour
Pink‘s “most physically and vocally demanding” show of her life kicked off in the United States this week in dramatic fashion.
Although the crowd in Seattle gave her a warm reception, there was one element missing from the singer’s Funhouse tour: her “Sober” trapeze act. (A stand-in took over the high-flying duties during that segment.)
Pink revealed early in the program that she had somehow separated her shoulder. (She also said that her purse and phone were recently stolen.) Despite the pain, the 30-year-old refused to cancel the concert and carried on like a professional.

“I never knew exactly what Carey was going through when he broke his collarbone. now i now. this hurts,” Pink tweeted about her injury. “but the show will go on. it did last night. and i’d say it went pretty well:) thanks seattle. loudest crowd we have had this tour.”
In the video above, you can hear why Pink chose to chose to cover Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” during the tour (and why she was initially discouraged to try). Then below, watch her doing the trapeze act during last Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards.
