Original Glee Songs Will Be in a Future Episode
Sony has confirmed the plot we almost didn’t dare believe: Glee will give us some original songs. Two new numbers (hopefully better than Rachel’s recent headband anthem) will be released on March 8. The songs will be included on the upcoming Glee: The Music, Volume 5 album, and we’ve got the song list. Follow the jump, and you’ll have it too. . .

The first 11 tracks are all expected, heard on Glee previously: “Thriller/Heads Will Roll,” “Need You Now,” “She’s Not There,” “Fat Bottomed Girls,” “P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing),” “Firework,” “Baby,” “Somebody to Love,” “Take Me or Leave Me,” “Sing,” and “Don’t You Want Me.”
The last five songs on the list will be featured on upcoming episodes: “Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yeah),” “Kiss” (to be featured on Gwyneth Paltrow’s return episode), “Landslide,” and the two original tracks “Get It Right” and “Loser Like Me.”
“Loser Like Me” was co-written by Max Martin, whose extensive songwriting credentials include writing tracks for Pink, the Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears. “Get It Right” is a ballad that will be sung by Lea Michele (she plays Rachel Berry). The original pieces will debut on the show on the March 15 episode “Original Song.”
