Lauryn Hill’s tour is drawing all the wrong kinds of attention.

Last Friday, fans walked out on the singer, upset with the show and her performance.

First, Hill was 3 hours late to her own show, which was scheduled for 9 P.M. The former Fugees frontwoman then announced that she was tired of “playing the same music” night after night, and began to perform remixes of classic hits.

"Everybody was looking around like ‘what song is this?'" Recalled one concert-goer. Many also said the band was overpowering, drowning out Hill’s singing.

But it seems Hill didn’t get the hint, even after being booed by her own audience and watching some fans storm out. She pulled the same stunts on Sunday in St. Louis, again making fans wait for 3 hours before she arrived on stage.

Hill’s 17-date tour has been getting negative reviews from critics, particularly after she was late to her opening performance, and assured fans she’s “worth the wait.”

Despite it all, the singer is still selling out venues and she’s continuing with the tour. If it’s making money, a few boos and enraged fans won’t hurt … right?
