Fall Out Boy Forced to Give A Cappella Performance
Could Fall Out Boy be looking for a new manager?
Although the band had intended to give a free acoustic concert earlier this week, poor planning forced the group members to awkwardly improvise. Someone neglected to file the necessary paperwork for the Washington Square Park appearance, which meant the use of instruments would not be allowed.
Fearing they would be arrested by the New York police department if they chose to rebel, the group members elected to do an a cappella performance instead. (The show must go on, right?)

After the disappointing event, bassist Pete Wentz - who clearly looked embarrassed by the whole thing - posted an apology to their fans on his blog:
“i genuinely feel sorry that we werent able to play today. they said if we picked up a guitar we would be sorry. patrick said it best “it felt like the grinch and the whos”. but we knew this probably was gonna happen. we didnt go through the proper process cause we wanted it to be free and fun and spontanious. so it was our fault. anyway, thanks for singing with us. well make it up to you. it means alot that you even showed up.”
Fall Out Boy’s new album, Folie A Deux, was released in stores yesterday.
