Mark RuffaloUPDATE: A spokesperson for the Pennsylvania Office of Homeland Security denies the story.

The people at Pennsylvania's Office of Homeland Security probably shouldn't make Mark Ruffalo angry. They might not like him when he's angry.

It's been revealed that Ruffalo, the actor scheduled to play the Incredible Hulk in The Avengers, has been placed on a terror advisory watch list by the U.S. government.

His inclusion was reportedly a result of his support of the documentary Gasland and his vocal opposition of natural gas drilling.

Despite being deemed a possible security threat, Ruffalo isn't phased.

"(It's) pretty f**kin' funny," he told GQ.

Mark Wahlberg, who stars along side Amy Adams in The Fighter, revealed that he almost teamed with the actress for another film.

“We had actually had the luxury of having lunch before, to talk about another movie,” Wahlberg revealed. “And, it was a bad movie that I did.”

Gee, that doesn’t narrow the list at all. Finally, Wahlberg revealed that the film was M. Night Shyamalan’s The Happening. (It was Zooey Deschanel who starred with Wahlberg and John Leguizamo.)

“It is what it is,” he said of the flick.

And yet, he has never issued an apology for Planet of the Apes.

HTC HD7 windows phone 7 giveaway

We're giving away an HTC HD7 Windows Phone 7 device to one of you guys here in our "Doing More with Less" giveaway! Not too familiar with WP7? Be sure to check out our Windows Phone 7 review, and read on for the details on how to enter.

Over the past three years, we've seen smartphones shrink in size while gaining a ton of functionality. In fact, it's hard to imagine ever using the bulky QWERTY sliders that were just about as thick as the original Game Boy. With the iPhone, Android devices, thinner BlackBerrys, and now WIndows Phone 7 devices jumping into the fray, we've truly got a situation where we are able to do way more than we'd ever dreamed we could do with a mobile phone, in a device that is so small that it comfortably fits in our pocket while the manufacturers tout how thin they are. Speaking of doing more with less, did you know that the smartphone in your pocket has more technology in it than the first rocket that went to outer space?

Now we want to hear from you--hit the comments and give us some examples where you can do more with less. It can be technology-related, or not. We will be picking a random winner based on the comments received. Here are the official rules:

  • How to enter: Just leave a comment on this article, focusing on "Doing More with Less". You can leave one comment per day until the giveaway’s close. Each comment must be substantially different than the previous.
  • Timeframe: The contest ends on November 29th, 2010. At this time comments will be closed on this post and a winner chosen with Random.org.
  • Eligibility: The contest is open to US residents only who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
  • Prize: The one winner will receive the HTC HD7, a T-Mobile Windows Phone 7 device that's an approximate retail value of $500.

This giveaway is brought to you by the new Windows Phone 7. Learn more about Windows Phone online and see it in person at local T-Mobile stores today.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer series

A planned reboot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer has a new name attached to the project – and it still isn't Joss Whedon.

Warner Bros., the studio that had optioned the project from Fran and Kaz Kuzui, formally announced Monday that it will be moving forward with the production despite Joss Whedon’s previous declaration that he would not be involved.

"There is an active fan base eagerly awaiting this character's return to the big screen," producer Charles Roven explained. "Details of the film are being kept under wraps, but I can say while this is not your high-school Buffy, she'll be just as witty, tough, and sexy as we all remember her to be."

Description

set a new record for the franchise this weekend – without the help of any 3-D prices.

The penultimate film in the series took in a magical $125 million, beating the previous mark set by 2005’s Goblet of Fire (which debuted to $102.7 million). The movie, which more than doubled what the other Top 10 entries did combined, also found itself ranked sixth on the all-time openers list.

In comparison, Paul Haggis’ did about 5% of what Harry Potter accomplished. That’s the smallest open for Russell Crowe since 2006’s A Good Year.

Daniel Craig. Harrison Ford. Sam Rockwell. Olivia Wilde. Jon Favreau. Steven Spielberg. Ron Howard. If you attach all of these names to one movie, does it legitimize the movie? Many Harry Potter fans had to ask themselves this question over the weekend when they were treated to the trailer you’ll find in the video above. The project is called Cowboys & Aliens, and this is not a joke.

Craig plays protagonist Jake Lonergan, who wakes alone in the desert with no memory of who he is. He knows only that he is alone, and has a mysterious metal shackle around his wrist. Things go from bad to worse when he learns that he is a criminal, wanted by the chief lawman in the nearest town (Harrison Ford).
