West was the closing performer of the night. He figured heavily in Chelsea Handler’s monologue and Taylor Swift’s performance. He even debuted his theatrical film trailer—though it was probably unlike anything you’ve ever seen before.

Joaquin Phoenix’s I’m Still Here: The Reviews Are In

 

So, remember when Joaquin Phoenix freaked out, quit acting and made an @$$ of himself on Late Night with David Letterman? Well, the documentary he was filming during that time () has been picked up, distributed and released…and the critics have already had their way with it. Ready to hear what the experts have to say?

E! Online calls the film an “alleged documentary,” saying it is “either a nightmarish depiction of a mid-meltdown narcissist, or a brilliantly deadpan put-on to make the late Andy Kaufman proud and Sacha Baron Cohen jealous.” While that sounds like something of an insult, the review goes on to call the flick “frequently hilarious,” which is far from all bad.

Whatever else the film may be, E! did not seem to take it too seriously, praising actors who appear in the film that were “in on the joke,” and for pulling off the “act.”

Bree Tanner: Next Twilight Saga Feature Film?

Summit Entertainment recently announced the release date for the last movie, breaking Twihard hearts around the world. However, the end of the Twilight Saga road may not be as near as you think.

Rumors suggest that The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, a Stephenie Meyer novella based on the Twilight books, may become the next feature film installment in the franchise.

Sources say that Summit is not currently planning to use Jodelle Ferland, who played the briefly-seen Bree in , in the new film version of her short second life.

First Look: Trailer for Wes Craven’s Newest Flick


The above trailer for My Soul to Take proves that horror master is still at the top of his game - and that’s good news for Scream fans.

Craven will also be directing the in the franchise, but for film buffs who just have to have a taste of terror right now, Soul looks devilishly thrilling.

The plot centers on a group of teens who live in a small town known for its bloody past. When they start to die, they are forced to look amongst themselves to find the killer.

The film is the first that Craven has written and directed since New Nightmare (1994).

VIDEO: Piranha’s Jerry O’Connell Discusses Full Frontal Scene


When finally hits theaters, rabid fish won’t be the only things capturing our attention.

During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, – who plays a “soft core pornography mogul” in the film – made a big reveal. “I show frontal,” the married father of two teased.

Should this spoiler lure you into watching the film, O’Connell would like you to know something beforehand. “There may be some issues with the piranha…and my member…maybe,” he warned. Why? Because a “very cold” Colorado River was rushing into the body of water (Lake Havasu) they were filming in.

“So when you see me, it’s very cold water,” he insisted.

If you’d like to gauge that water temp for yourself, the film opens this weekend.

New Clip from Brittany Murphy’s Last Film

The dark thriller revolves around a New York ballet company which is staging a performance of Swan Lake. Portman’s character is picked to dance the lead role, but the arrival of a new dancer (Kunis) creates new tension and competition.

Kunis stretches her villain chops in the flick, which will be released December 1.
