And yet another delay, most likely prompting more haunted production gossip: Bradley Cooper has quit The Crow. The Hangover star was due to play the main character in the remake of the 1994 supernatural action movie, but has pulled out because of his busy schedule.
Cooper will start shooting David O. Russell's Silver Linings Playbook in the autumn and then immediately begins filming Paradise Lost - the same time The Crow is set to be made. Although a replacement for Cooper is yet to be decided, Channing Tatum and Mark Wahlberg are reportedly being considered, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Crow - which is based on the 1989 comic book - will be directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo. The film tells the story of a rock musician who is murdered while trying to save his partner, only to be resurrected and seek his revenge. Brandon Lee played the role originally, but was killed during production on set in 1993. Production on the film is due to start later this year, with Tucker Tooley (The Fighter) on board as an executive producer.
