Seth Rogen Calls Katherine Heigl a Hypocrite

If you thought Katherine Heigl was only alienating the people she works with in television, you’d be wrong. It seems the actress’ big mouth has irked her coworkers in film as well.
In a 2007 interview, the Knocked Up star gave a surprising interview to Vanity Fair about the Judd Apatow comedy. Instead of praise for her box office hit, Heigl called the film “a little sexist.” “It paints the women as shrews, as humorless and uptight, and it paints the men as lovable, goofy, fun-loving guys. It exaggerated the characters, and I had a hard time with it, on some days. I’m playing such a bitch; why is she being such a killjoy? Why is this how you’re portraying women? Ninety-eight percent of the time it was an amazing experience, but it was hard for me to love the movie,” she stated.
Needless to say, her costars weren’t exactly thrilled by her comments.

While promoting their new film, Funny People, Seth Rogen and Judd Apatow made comparisons to Knocked Up and Heigl’s new film, The Ugly Truth.
“That [movie] looks like it really puts women on a pedestal in a beautiful way,” Rogen commented. “I hear there’s a scene where she’s wearing ... Underwear ... with a vibrator in it, so I’d have to see if that was uplifting for women,” Apatow added.
Although Judd guessed Heigl was probably “tired and slipped a little bit” after doing countless interviews, Seth wasn’t as willing to defend her. “I didn’t slip and I was doing f****** interviews all day too ... I didn’t say s***!” Rogen claimed.
But no matter how he feels, Seth knows not to take the whole matter too personally. “I gotta say it’s not like we’re the only people she said some bat **** crazy things about,” he said. “That’s kind of her bag now.”
